Shut up there you Aussies, and pay your taxes for the Brazilian Empire! Imperial taxes are a mere 75% of income, so no complaining, or else... BOOM! Aircraft carriers aren't free, you know. If they were free, your rinky-dink little military might have had one, and perhaps put up a competent fight.

Anyway, Superpower may well not be out over there yet. The company that makes it is still very small. If/when it does come out, it may be under the name "Global Power". I'll ask around on their forums and see.

Unfortunatley, it's NOT MULTIPLAYER! :( :x

Then again, this game is complex enough that it takes EONS to play, even by yourself. Multiplayer would be insane.

Well a volley of chemical warheads launched at Japan finally persuaded the US to attack me. I held them off pretty well, actually. They were able to do some damage in occupied Mexico, but were repulsed from Brazil itself fairly easily. I restored from my saved game anyway, though. I don't want to take on any of the really big boys until I'm good and ready.

Am I sick for downloading the demo specifically so I could pretend to launch nuclear missiles?

No. I found that the most enjoyable aspect of the game was playing as the US for the sole purpose of firing strategic nuclear weapons at every single country in the world.

Either that, or nuking all of Chinas cities, and watching WWIII break out.
