Tell me about it. Although Michigan State's options at the time of his hire were limited. He was something like fourth or fith on the list of candidates. I mostly blame the previous coach Nick Saban for that. He fuckin' walked to LSU BEFORE MSU played in the Citrus Bowl against Florida back in '99. Bobby gets announced interim coach, pulls off the unlikely win against an underachieving Steve Spurrier team, and all of a sudden he's the golden boy and gets hired. All because of the way Saban left. Fucking bastard.

Saban was a shithead to walk away but MSU forced him to walk before that game. It's not his fault they brought it Bobby "Bumbling Idiot" Williams. He was a good assistant coach but worth exactly shit as a head coach. Frankly I blame the school for keeping that idiot around so long.
