I am vastly different in person then i am on this board. No one really cares what i think, so i just do very little.

I think people's real "you" is the one you get to know in person, when actually trying to spend the time and effort to do so. The internet fake world makes it too fucking easy to lie and to pretend feelings that you don't feel, in most cases it's too easy to fake who you are and fool others. While this works also in person, it at least takes more effort.

The "me" in this boards is only a tiny fraction of who I truly am, both because I choose to hide a fairly large part of my personality, and simply because the media doesn't provide the means to show all the aspects of your life.

It's like that 2-hour photo movie: you only take photos of the good, cheery and hollow moments, never of the real moments that affect you (good and bad).

I play a role when I'm online, and each place I visit I'm slightly different.

It's not a fake C.S.Strowbridge. more of a condenced C.S.Strowbridge. All the attitude, none of the social graces.

And none of the intelligence.

I believe you have deserved yourself an understatement of the year award...

Neither...
While I do tend to be better-worded on the internet (Having such a poor way with words when talking), the real me shall remain unto my own devices, and consciousnesses, :)

I don't see any difference at all between the me here and me that I am with my very good friends. That's my perception, but those who know both (Ando & Ewo) might say differently..? I don't know.

Speaking of which, where have you been? This board felt so dreary without you here.

Awww, you guys missed me! I drove up to Boston to visit some friends. I was a totally kickass time, but I missed you all and wondered what and how much I was missing..... I'm still trying to catch up here... It's good to be back!

Mine was absolutely excellent. I was in Boston with some friends (only one other chick and eight guys, one of whom is the subject of the "Whom do you consider?" thread), so I was constantly pimpin'. Of course, they are all only friends, but it was still heaps of fun anyway. :D

Anyway, the person I was when I was on the trip with those guys is frighteningly exactly like how I am when a bunch of you start flirting with me at once. So, just another way to prove that I am indeed the same person whether online or in person. Ta-da!

I'm sure most people who know me in both RL and on the net can vouch for me being pretty much the same, though a bit more extroverted. Only a BIT though.

You can't run naked through the streets of the web...

I'm not much different between here and real life. I hold arguments a bit longer here, since I can look and do research in the middle of writing a post, but I tend to have more of a temper in real life. I really do wrestle with my inner conscience, very much in a way reminiscent of the Black Mage jokes. I will admit I come off as slightly more religious in real life (hey, I'm a Religion major who might be able to pick up a Philosophy minor), but I'm no rabid fundie. Actually, I would be interested in meeting most everyone on the board IRL as long as religion et al did not come into it (no, I won't try to force religion down peoples' throats...it doesn't work, and it just pisses people off :D). However, I'm going to log off now, since it's 3 AM and I'm not about to pull a Verilon during Dead Week.
