Well, I have a whole summer without a big vacation, and I've been working on my writing skills, so sure, I'll sign up.

Meanwhile, Luke, on a desperate quest to find his sister, feels her presence on Coruscant, and so he travels straight into the belly of the beast. But far away, the Rebellion itself is building a Great Weapon that will finally be able to break the evil Empire, while the Emperor himself prepares the greatest fleet in all of History to ambush and annihilate the rebels once and for all...

I like the idea of writing some EU for the victor's rewrite.....

I was considering signing up, however you'd never get anything out of me, because of coming exams. Although, I'm looking forward to seeing the results. There better be good lightsaber combat. And yeah, the EU based off of the rewrite would be fun.

I was considering joining up, but the contest's limitations don't rub me the right way. Sorry. Though I hope you guys have fun.

You know, the original Death Star wasn't made over the Wookiee homeworld (Kashyyyk).

It was built over a prison world (aptly) called Despayre, in the Horuz system. Said planet then became the Death Star's first target.

I'm afraid that I must withdraw from the contest as my work on the fic has been causing me migraines and there are things here in the real world that I have to pay attention to.

Are applications still being taken? This thread is nearly a month old, but I've only joined these boards a few days ago.

There are just under three weeks left until the contest is concluded.

Though I am still owrking on this project, due to time constraints I do not believe that I'll be able to finish the script re-write within the allowed time (by August the 15th). However, sometime after, perhaps in early september, I will still post my submission.

Hmm, I noted a method of determining the victor has never been outlined. Will it be an open vote? Admin's picks? Hippy everybody wins crap?

I can't get to the RoTJ re-write I have planned until I do RoTS, ANH, and ESB how long is this good for?

I hate to do it, but I must bow out. My re-write has suffered two re-writes and I no longer have the time to do it. My apologies, I hate not being able to do what I say.

Well I think judges are in order. I'm thinking myself, RedImp, and I'm looking for a third and maybe a fourth.

Do you guys who were working on it or wanted to submit maybe think about an extension? I'd allow one more month.

A month would be nice, a week would be fine.

Obviously it was supposed to be due yesterday.
