Not sure if the person starting this has a laptop, now, but this is a fantastic looking machine.
For less than $1500 ($1412), I got this computer up to:
3400+ AMD Processor
1 gigabyte RAM
ATI 9700 Pro with 128MB's RAM
80 gigabyte HDD
4x Dual Format DVD±R/±RW + 16x CD-R/RW Combo Drive
Tinker around with the settings to fit your needs, but mine's in the mail.
