I'm not talking about every incident, Anders, stop being an ass. I'm referring to the ones where the cops pumped someone full of lead while they were up and ceased afterwards.
I know what you are referring too. I'm always hesitant of anything more than a double tap. Even in Tassie we have some weird shottings where more than 2-3 rounds have been fired. In nearly EVERY case the officers have been found guilty of a severe misconduct (usually killing an unresisting subject or using an "execution" shot).

In dropping a rampaging crackhead, go ahead a use a clip, but when 5 cops all empty magazines, reload and keep firing at an unarmed man, questions must be asked [/hijacking rant]

Minor point: cops are trained to put a target down. Depending on the round carried, one or two rounds may be insufficient (especially with regard to the 9mm often carried). This may be why he was shot five times (and usually explains the other incidents where cops pump some poor guy full of lead)
I wasn't attacking the officer for shooting him 5 times. I was just merely pointing out that the guy had been shot with a gun five times. Regardless of who shot him or why, he's not exactly in a condition to recall the past few hours, especially when those hours involved an encounter with police and being shot.

Also remember there are So. Cal. Police. Folks who have a reputation for a poor track record with convictions, as well as having a reputation for excessive force.

I mean the Media solved the Manson Killings for them...
