I've always been a fan of making him look a little like Mr. T.

Wouldn't it be neat if they did a redux of GTA3 or VC with all the niftiness of the new one?

My CJ is currently wearing beige slacks, a nicely patterned ivory shirt (with hibiscus print in a subtle brown), a fat silver chain, dark sunnies, red beret and some suede desert boots. He's also 100% muscled out and sporting cornrows.

Its a very Samuel L Jackson look over all.

During the early stages I had a 100% muscle CJ with green trackpants, shit-kicker boots, not top, huge ass gold chains and a green bandanna over the face with an Afro. Somehow when he was walking down the street with AK in hand and 7 boys with TEC-9s following him, the police never once thought that he might be a menace to society.

Went with Samual look at first. Bald, Muscled out and dressed in blacked. Then changed it for the green pants and shoe's and went with the Nam vet vest.

My fucking jaw dropped when this scene played out. I sat back and thought about it, I had a shitload of cash, an AIRPORT, a Chop Shop along with other property everwhere. Big connections with the Triads, and a stake in their Casino. The manager of a famous rap artist, not to mention a close friend. A steady girlfriend way the hell away, and for some reason I want to come back and clean out some shitty rathole?

My course of action would have been the following (Sweet may be a whiney bitch, but ey ... he's still family):

Oh and lets not forget one important thing CJ did while Sweet was cooling his heels in jail.

CJ IS THE FUCKING REASON WHY SWEET DIDN'T DIE IN JAIL AND WHY HE WAS MAGICALLY FREED. His 'homies' abandoned his ass, his 'hood' disintegrated into crack addicts...

So as Sweet is laying a guilt-trip on CJ about loyalty to a bunch of do-nothing crack heads, CJ needs to respond. He needs to inform little Sweet that he had to single-handedly lay siege to a US amphibious assault ship, shut down their SAM system, steal a attack plan, shoot down three...THREE! US military jets sent after him...blow up a couple of boats...then land what was left of the jet back at his private airport.

Sweet whined that when CJ was young, he looked after him by doing things like stealing bread, and he just wants credit for it. Well Sweet, while your ass was in jail for being a moron, CJ was looking after you by taking a hell of a lot more risk than your swiping a loaf of Wonderbread.

I can understand the guilt trip that Sweet put on CJ in the begining. But by the time Sweet got out of prison, things changed. The hood was gone. Ryder and Big Smoke were traitors, they were what was left of the hood in the first place. Carl made a better life for himself, and his sister, and her boyfriend. Sweet should have taken a chance to live the better life.

Can someone, please, please, please tell me that when I finally take over ALL the territories in the final gang war, they will stay mine, so I don't have to run off a kill a pack of Balla foo's while my homies sporting TEC-9s stand by and get SHOT TO DEATH BY BALLAS!

NO NO NO, not just that - BUT ALSO, at the EXACT SAME FUCKING TIME AS I FINALLY GET AN ENEMY GANG TO SPAWN ALLOWING ME TO TAKE THAT FUCKING TERRITORY... YOU HAVE A FUCKING ATTACK ON ONE OF MY TERRITORIES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FUCKING CITY MEANING THAT I CANNOT ACTUALLY START THE FUCKING GANGWAR NOW. Uh...as far as I can tell, you're not suppose to take all the territories. There should be three little territories (Two Ballas, and one Vatos, or what ever their name is) so they have a place to attack from.

You can take all the territories. It's just a bitch sometimes. Make sure you get them all though, because some pop up by the boast school, and in SF too at times for some odd reason.

As to whether that stops it or not, I think so. But I could be wrong.

They did that with VC, making it into GTA3. It's a mod called GTA: Liberty City. It's not yet done, but they've been making a ton of progress.

As to converting SA into GTA3 and VC, I came across a project for converting SA into GTA3. However, I can't remember where it was at. Still, I would expect the Modders to do so in short order. After all, SA has an unlimited border; they could in theory stick Liberty City and Vice City into the same world, as well as doing a TC to remake the games with the new engine.

Save your game, Start and cancel a vigilantie/pimping/taxi mission to end any active gang-wars without any territory loss.

Any time I see a gang-war I just go and save and miraculously it goes away.

Yep. It's one of the "tips" when you do gang wars that people have given. Since if you have all the safehouses in LS and you're not the worst driver this planet has ever seen, you can easily make it to a safehouse in your general area, save, get rid of the annoying attack on the other side of town, and go back to what you were doing.

While it doesn't have the same appeal as going down there with a fully loaded RPG or a Hydra and showing them who the real OG of Los Santos is, it is much easier.

The most annoying territory to take was that really thin one that looked like one side of a street. Took me ages to start a gang war there, did they fix that in the PC version?

I don't understand why CJ gives a flying rats ass about some illegal immigrants... For crissakes, I had to take an entire container ship starting out with nothing but a firgging knife and then swordfight a samurai master dude for what, exactly? (Well, for 11k thats for what, but I digress...it's still stupid.)

PS. anyone notice? Mike Toreno=James Woods. He does such a good bad guy voice. what a dick he is. I love him!

*shrug* You're just weird. I whipped out one of my guns and shot the fucker. I still had some ammo left, plus I was stupid in dealing with the grenade tosser earlier and didn't want to get in close to this guy. Not sure if the PC version closes this little loophole though.

As to doing it in the first place, I suppose it would be to really get in good with Woozie, as he seemed to care a lot of them. Also, the 11k doesn't really hurt either.

All you had to do was look in the credits section of the manual.

But I think he's awesome, on the same level as Donald Love of GTA3. In fact, I have a save game just after "Highjack" that I keep in there just so I can go back and redo his missions and listen to what he has to say. I love his "white knights and balance" speech just before "Interdiction".

I don't think the last word was really "work" like it is above, but this is good enough. His voice work was really good in this scene.

I normally don't read voiceactor credits. It really kind of a fun thing for me to go into the game not knowing, and trying to pick out the voices. It took me quite a while to figure out that the old policeman guy in True Crime was Christopher Walken. I mean, I had an idea, but it wasn't until much later in the game that it was confirmed.

My problem is that I can hear the voice and it will be irritatingly familiar but I just can't place it (same thing with a lot of movies; I know who that person is, I just can't get their name!).

Hey, does anyone else have problems with their saved games (PC version) going away, then coming back when you restart? It's starting to piss me right the fuck off.

alright, I've reached hitman on my weapons and it says that i can hold dual weapons. How do i equip dual weapons?

and the musci won't play, they still playing their own things instead of the mp3s that i put into the file.
