But I don't think the 40mm grenades are US in origin. HK makes a lot of long 40mm rounds, IIRC.

It (new VOG-30 round in comparison to M384) might be bull I should add- it's from milparade.com which has a tendency to give glowing reports of new weapons systems, but who cares really.

They ARE damn light though.

If there's one thing the Russians are good at, it's making kick ass infantry weaponry- AK-47 series and derivatives, RPG series, SVD series, PK series, AGS-17, RPO-A 'Shmel'- true immortals.

Light is good. light means you can tun from place to place easily with a BAG (Bad Ass Gun).

It does look more high-tech... But when I run out of bullets I'll take the AK, because it's a more effective melee weapon.
