You should have specified a one or two-man crew, since most of the people have selected craft with thousands or even millions of crewers, which is a bit ridiculous for smuggling purposes.

I think we can all solve that by slaving all control of the ship to a single console, a set of consoles, or by voice-command or rudimentary AI.

Me: Ship, pursue freighter!

AI: *beep*


Ship starts moving (Having done all the things necessary to get ship moving like Nav, engiens, maneuvering, etc). In Star Wars, we have full AIs. How are rudimentary AIs controling ships impossible?

And present captain and crew? Kill them all, deport them all, or they're not there in the first place.
