Shoot through an innocent? I'm insulted. You know as well as I do that explosive ordinances lack the ability to shoot through and rely mainly on their ability to cause such considerable damge that there is no longer a through to shoot.

No it started in TNG. I think Lloyds portrayal was of a Klingon who was off (kinda psycho). That's why I like his performance, he was the nutty Klingon. Plummer was the cunning one.(another great performance)

I wish that the Klingons in TNG were more like their STIII counterparts - they were genuinely nasty, used their technology to the full and used firearms (gasp!). Yeah, they made mistakes, but that was just one ship's complement whose errors can't be considered representitive of the Klingon race as a whole.
TNG's Klingons were castrated at the very birth of the series, by the "need" for an agressive and proud race to be the very best of friends with the namby-pamby UFP. All the menace, all the subtlety, just gone like a fart in a hurricane.

Anyway, to keep at least part of my post on topic, I like the movie, but there are some things in it that don't sit well with me. STIV is definitely my favourite, but STIII would probably come in second place if I ranked them.
