You know, Pick, an SDN webcomic would be the shit :D

What, you mean like with board members as characters? I dunno, that sounds rather self-aggrandising and a bit hollow to me, and would get old pretty quick.

Not to mention that it could turn into another avenue for the playground munchkins to run amock in...

That's because you're a boring old fart, Spanky. :D

Pick wrote:Ahhh, Crossroads... how true is that :P. I don't know why, but drawing bishounen guys is really, really, ridiculously fun. What strange sorcery this be to us anime artists I know not, but the spell is quite strong, indeed :). Really, though, I have no idea why I like to draw that way, other than it's just... unbelieveably entertaining. Before I got into anime, all my men were buff. Now they just look like flat chicks
NOt that theres anything wrong with that  Theres really nothing like drawing a very well detail image and having someone say "Is that a guy or a girl?" the mark of every true Bishonen

Pick, you would fit in VERY well over at my old forum, sluggy.net. Bishies are almost a running gag amonst some of us there. You would be welcomed as saint :D

Thanks as usual be to everyone! :D Sorry I didn't comment on these last time; I was very sick over the weekend.

I might do a comic of SDNet if I ever get any ideas, but I'm really not so much the type with funny ideas

--------------

NEW PROJECT: INSANE CRAZY STUFFED ANIMAL OF DOOM!!!

Materials: Black buttons, two necklaces (white eyes), fabric, stuffing, foam, embroidery thread, thread, an insane degree of focus.

I kind of look like hell since it's school clothes

Better pics when I've got a chance.

He's about 9 feet long.

And yes, this is seriously the project my mother did not say a word to me when I came to show her.

It's Edge's traits map  I really don't want to take the time to explain except to say with ALL CLARITY he is not a shapeshifter or a 'were--'. I just wanted his traits (and as they develop) to be able to form a coherant animal. I liked the design, and wanted a big stuffed animal for the winter since it's fucking cold and I could use a pillow :).

And Noble Ire, once I get my site up even slightly, I'll post my story thus far :)

Wow. That's amazing. Really, that you designed and made a nine-foot stuffed animal of high quality from scratch shows an amazing level of skill and focus, especially when added with everthing else you've shown us.

Are you refering to your SDn comic proposal? If so, perhaps you should read her post again.

By the way Pick, I'm sure there are plenty of people around here with suffecient comic wit to advise or write a webcomic that you could ask for advisement or even collaboration, if you actually wanted to do it (a certain wolf and grinning captain come to mind.)

He's refering to Pick's mother's reaction to her giant stuffed animal project.

I don't know if I'd be able to say anything if I saw that in person, either. I'd be too stunned at the sheer scale.

Don't let it sleep on your bed, you might get smothered. :P

:D Thanks everybody for the comments! I appreciate it very much. I ended up taking it to school today to show people, and it met with quite a bit of notice . Many people asked if I made it, or assumed I hadn't made it, which seemed somewhat odd since this is rather the type of thing that I do. Shock value rules :).

And unfortunately, Erik, I really can't do things like this on commission. The out-of-pocket investment for me is in this case rather steep (especially since some people don't come through on commissions and I end up losing all the money I put in) and the shipping would be obscene as well. Sorry about that! :(

And further sketches from school:

Sketches can be hard to see, so you might not notice she's holding an apple. Don't be pervs. Desunius

Spellcasting. I'll probably finish this one up, even though it's on computer paper
