Wrong, boss dude, Just because you're the most powerful country doesn't automatically mean you can own anybody you want... If they have WMD and use them against you you will have agined a Pyrrhic victory... Would winning be much better than losing in that case?

And besides, wanton invasion tends to unite the rest of the world against you.
