Damn, this discussion is going way over my head.

You wouldn't think that would happen to me considering my username....

I got some other Temjin pics around too, if you want 'em.

But Virtual On is one of those games that is a lot more technical than most people think(Hell, the calcutations they do in the Pokemon games to determine experience and leveling-up go right over my head). I notice that a lot of people who play it in my area tend to only dash around and fire a lot.

It doesn't help much that they added a lot of things to the game in VOOT, which completely altered the strategy.

Yeah VOOT was a good improvement, though it did introduce some really cheap characters like Dordray and that FUCKING ANGELAN! Goddam! She is an annoying bitch to fight. Always launching those dragons and shrugging off any light attack with her massive amounts of V-Armor. Fighting her is just no fun.

Jehuty and Anubis (My avatar is a shot of Anubis) - Zone of enders. Zone of Enders 2 comes out in March (hopefully - production of the game is done so it should be good to go - can't wait until it comes out):

It is by far the truest to anime mecha game I have ever played. The action is fast and fierce, and if you watch the videos and see just how fast they get it'll make you wonder how you can do it - but the controls for the game are actually very well made and very easy to master. Jehuty is the one you pilot through the game. In the first one you think it's fast and everything, but at the very end Jehuty's AI tells you that Jehuty still only has minimal system capablities (when the main character finds it in the beginning of the game it had just undergone a complete system overhaul) And so in ZOE 2 it gets all it's sytems.. and it's much much meanier than before. As shown above it has mutliple homing lasers (it fires how ever many targets you've locked onto) so that you literally take on dozens and dozens of enemy mecha at once. The sword/beam saber fighting is fast and fierce (with clashing swords and such) - and there's multiple subweapons that Jehuty stores in what's known as a vector trap (it bends space and time) such as a very large beam saber, phalanx canon, self-repair device, - holographic/electronic decoy device ect. There are going to be many more added in the second one too (such as the ablity to literally teleport instantaniously across the battlefield right up in your enemy's face) Jehuty can grab other mecha, which puts them in a statis lock, and then can do such things as use them as a shield, use them as an blunt object, or throw them at other mecha. heh Also in the second one Jehuty can grab walls of buildings and rip them off to use as shields or objects to throw and rip out large I-beams to use as large blunt instraments... heh Jehuty is also a full flight mecha and extremely manueverable (can make instant turns in any direction while boosting... oh, and boosting is unlimited - which is a good thing since if you don't boost you die rather quickly in this game...)

Anyway, I'm just waiting for the second one to come out, which looks to have a much better/longer story - better characters, and better ablities and toys for Jehuty to use. heh

Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
