I run a fairly active fansite for the game, we've got 8 of the lead developers posting quite often and I've a good rapport with them and I think it's safe to say I know it inside out right now (in terms of what has been made public, of course). There are a fair number of staff from the shows involved in the development, two big names being Mike Okuda (designing the interfaces and new LCARS system for the game) and Andrew Probert, who is helping them to create all those areas on ships we never got to see (for instance, all 42 decks of a galaxy class and pretty much every room in the technical manuals are going in, brought upto date of course, given the game is set 20 years after Nemesis.)

You can check out the devblog over on http://startrek.perpetual.com/developmentlogs.html where they give periodic updates of what they're working on right now. I also wrote this guide as an alternative to the vague FAQ: http://www.startrek-online.net/article/ ... -st-o.html but I am in the middle of re-writing it, there has been a tonne of new information from the developers in the last couple of weeks (including for instance the Klingons becoming playable) which I haven't got into the guide yet.

Anyhow, check out their LCARS/Uniform/Galaxy Class interior concepts, it's all coming along nicely.
