What What?!
Uh...?
They specifically tell you (somewhere) that levitation magic is nullified within Mournhold. Though I really don't see what the big deal is.

I'm considering getting this game for Xbox 360. Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

Only if getting it on PC is not an option.
With the PC version you'll get:
- Better graphics, unless you have HDTV or something.
- The Elder Scrolls Editor, as packaged with Oblivion PC.
- The ability to use the
legion of mods that will arise from the use of said editor (based on what was and
still is being churned out for Morrowind).
- Patches, content, and ease of expansion use, assuming they make any.
- Superior controls! Not to mention end-user flexibility when it comes to graphics, audio, control scheme, etc.
Just to name a few advantages.

Hah, that's right. I forgot exactly how I beat him, but now I remember.
Jink Blade!
Hit him with it, switch to my power weapon, hit him with that... switch back in a few seconds.

Jinkblades were the lamest shit in Morrowind. I had a character who carried three of them, and he could defeat anything. Jink, stabstabstabstabstab, jink, stabstabstab, repeat.

I got jinkblades beat.

As a summoner, I rely entirely on flight as a means of survival.

That's a pretty nasty sword Hotfoot, but you can find Jinkblades in PUDDLES and TUFTS OF GRASS.

Wouldn't want to use that blade on someone with 100% reflection

Using a paralysis blade on a reflecting enemy definetly isn't fun unless you have like significant magicka or paralysis resist.
But for some reason, absorb health doesn't hurt you when it gets reflected back. But don't rest while under its influence. I killed a Golden Saint with the Black Hands Dagger, rested, and died instantly.

That's only for 3 seconds, though.

YOU BASTARDS.
Now that I know what's in the Oblivion collectors thingie, I've changed my pre order and broken my long-running tiff with the concept of 'collectors' thingies. Bah! I hate that this 'collectors' thingie isn't horribly crap!

Muhahaha! The BOFH strikes again!
On a related note, how many got the Morrowind Collectors box?
I got it mostly for the soundtrack, I still play the MP3's now and then.

Yeah, but I swing a lot faster than 3 seconds with that blade, and each swing does gobs of damage

Is it yet clear what copy protection system Oblivion will use?

The devs have stated that it WON'T be Starforce.

Well, that's a relief.
Isn't the reason you can't levitate in Mournhold because there's no world defined outside the city? You have to teleport there and back. IIRC it's on the mainland, not Vvardenfell, but for some reason you're confined to the city. I personally enjoyed Bloodmoon a lot more. But hopefully Oblivion will put it all to shame.

That Wood Elf, Gaenor? He was easy. That's because I was in Solstheim first, and found 5 Ebony Arrows of Slaughter.
5000 Health damage. Instant. I reserved one for each of the Gods, one for my collection, and one spare. He got the spare. Aren't I kind?
Vivec died in one hit, Almalexia took one to the face and required one more stab from the Spear of Bitter Mercy to die. Yeah, those arrows rock.
Everybody else was a pushover, and my character is a mere Khajit Assassin, I fear what could be done with a dedicated Redguard fighter...
Still at least a month more to wait for Oblivion though.
