Various songs from Sesame Street sketches and the first season of Fraggle Rock. It's been like that for the past two weeks.

Before that it was this God damn song "Isn't it Romantic?" from an old Mamoulian film called Love Me Tonight.

'I want you to want me' from Cheap Trick at Budokan. Aural joy.

Followed with a healthy dose of the Wildhearts.

The Final Cut (including "When the Tigers Broke Free"-- my favorite) by Pink Floyd has found its way back into my current rotation.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - The Ballad Of Curtis Lowe

And I'm loving every minute it's stuck in my head. Not sure how long that will last, but when it starts to get annoying I'll put on some Zeppelin, they always have something I don't mind getting stuck in my head.

It was "Like a Virgin" because of TaintedLove, but heavy doses of Bloodhound Gang, Blue Oyster Cult, and Boston (wut? I like my Classic Rock. Sue me!) remedied that sorry state of affairs but quick!

Ah, you son of a bitch. Now I've got Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo stuck in my head just because of the very mention of that band.

[20:56] airmarshaltych: I need an mp3 of The Final Countdown!
[20:56] iarmoredcorps: maybe if it doesn't work I'll try it through IE
[20:56] wgw2024: I have a mike, and I have skype, but I'm not getting on it now, I'm getting over the flu and I don't especially desire to talk to any of you
[20:56] airmarshaltych: Not even me? :(
[20:56] generalaya: You know what would be cool? A reality show where Ted Nugent hunts down people on his property.

the electric six albums. They're both totally sweet.

Girl
I want to take you to a gaybar
I want to take you to a gaybar
I want to take you to a gaybar, gaybar, gaybar

now imagine this being sung by the lead singer dressed as abe lincoln, slowly stripping and dancing provocatively with other men.

I've had Banana Phone stuck in my head for about 2 weeks now.

I probably look like some kind of psycho going. "Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, Banana Phone.. GODDAMMIT!"

Various songs from Cryptic Wintermoon's A Coming Storm, particularly Dark Crusade, Supersatan, and their excellent cover of Judas Priest's Nightcrawler.

And Blind Guardian's The Last Candle sneaks in every now and then.

I hate that song. Hate it with much hate, in fact. Actually, I detest just about every currently popular pop song, because the radio station that my coworkers keep the radio on plays the top ten or something over and over. If I wanted that level of repetitiveness I'd listen to a CD, and pick one with better music.
Too bad for you. It's popular for a reason after all.

Why do we live like this?
Is it because it's true

Ayumi Hamasaki - Trauma: tablagen remix
Jimmy Buffett - Last Mango In Paris and The Pascagaula Run
Mike and the Mechanics - All I Need is a Miracle
D.J. Sammy - Heaven
E Nomine - Das Omen Im Kreis des Bosen

I made the mistake of listening to The Captain and the Kid by Jimmy Buffett. I have to make that the third song I absolutely, positively should not listen to if I don't want to start crying like a little girl.

The most recent thing I listened to was at the gym, which was the soundtrack for South Park: Bigger, Longer Uncut. Nothing like pumping iron to "Shut Your Fucking Face, Uncle Fucker."

Rammstein - Du Hast. I like the song when I'm actually listening to it, but I can get those guitars out of my fucking head...
