Has anyone actually found an electroplated artifact, or is that just idle musing as to what the "battery" could have been used for? The fact that the artifacts in question were found in a building that also housed medicinal plants and other medical artifacts is, apparently, lost in the hullabaloo, but indicates that it was probably used in medicine.

Found pics of these artifacts. Unfortunately most of them were found in the 19th century, raising the possibility of forgery of most if not all those found during that time period and before. The simple and obvious solution would be to subject them to rigorous scientific testing to see if they indeed are fakes produced in modern times.

Good link! I particularly like the "MYSTERIOUS CHINA STONE FROM OUTER SPACE". To me, that looks like one of the insulators from an electrical distribution system (such as you find on any power pole in any street), complete with the screw that attached it to the power pole or the cross-piece, with the end broken off, and badly weathered as for example by a decade or so in a stream-bed.

Now that I can see a photo of the Egyptian vaccuum tubes, they look to me like priest pouring something onto the floor from large storage-jars, which are held up by props.

Well, at least the UFO loons are a little smarter than the creationists. They conclude from old fossils that humans must have been around for a very long time, instead of concluding that the fossils must be very young (neither of them is really right though, of course)...

Also, the banner on the site that Ein posted is funny. I wonder if they have any idea how much those three UFOs look like a certain type of clouds

As for the crystal skull, everyone knows that was an alien artifact found by Daniel Jackson's grandfather Nick Ballard.

Isn't that pretty much by default?
When two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

Well, not necessarily. They're usually about on the same level as Old-Earth Creationists. Instead of running around shouting "my magical god did it", they run around and shout "my magical UFOs did it". The creationists usually recognise that microwave ovens and TV are human inventions at least (unlike the more extreme UFO loons).
