I demand to know why everyone is suddenly playing RO. Is it just because it's on steam? Is it stand-alone now? How do you tolerate the 12yos?

I was pissed off and damn near quite playing it the other day when a kiddie demanded that I "GTFO" of his Tiger because I was driving it while he was in the gun turret. Never mind that I was just trying to get him in a hulldown position. Stupid douchebag.
But a few of the servers have pretty good groups...
As for why everyone is playing it? Because now its standalone. That's why.

Well, I guess I should start playing again. Have they added the manual-bolt option yet? Fucking autobolt bullshit grr.

Yes Stark, it was released over Steam as a standalone game.
This game is incredibly immerisve. The sounds and visuals come together in a great way, and really make you feel like your there, to use an old cliche. Firefights are intense, gore is plentiful, and the whole thing reeks of polish. I've only been playing for a day yet all of the great moments I've had in the game could fill ten pages. I'd have to say the best one so far was coordinating with a fellow goon/gun nut over voicecomm in a Panther. on Arad. I was gunning and he was driving, and we just wiped the floor with the opposing team, who were hardly slouches. Kill after kill after kill. It was glorious.
