But they're still going with Clapton's version, so I'd think Layla woudl trump it... I don't know. It definitely deserves to be up there, at any rate.

I wonder why Zappa and Steve Howe never make lists like this one. Zappa in particular, who has over 1.000 different works to his name, a lot of which is really inventive/advanced stuff for the period.
