If you're having memory issues, open a new tab, and close all your existing tabs. You should see your memory usage go right down. It's all because Firefox is saving your browsing history, to the point where you could probably hit back all the way to what you had when you first opened the browser window.

It *is* apparently fixable in about:config, though I don't know what the setting is off the top of my head.

Overall I wasn't really happy with Firefox when I used it on the machines at school, so I've decided to stick with Mozilla.
