EDIT: Besides, they've already said that the CDR can have aircraft hangers on it's SHOULDERS.
BTW, Nice job on that poster

And that it has a tacnuke at some point or another, but it's probably lacking in the durability department, much like the old commander compared to similarly armed units. I'd say it's safe to say that it's going to lack the ability to march into an enemy base and pwn all, especially due to the size of the maps.
Thanks though
It's going to be hilarious though. I think we need to have a HAB vs. MM tournament when SupCom comes out, with HAB playing as UEF and MM playing as Cybrans. The smacktalk would be hilarious.

MM?
And it need to be 3-way

MM is short for Mecha Maniacs.
We don't need a three way, though I suppose we could have...someone...as the Aeon. It just doesn't have the same jazz as the tanks vs. mechs war brought to brilliant realization in the pixellated form.

Um...
Be in the HAB or MM?
I think you're missing something here, because Hotfoot's statement seems so clear I cannot even concieve of ambiguity within it.

...I guess there are less subtle ways of implying that I'd like to join HAB for the duration of this battle at least...
Like that, see?

Ah, but unless Supreme Commander supports some sort of multi-player/side option I would discount the idea of there being an actual HAB/MM match instead of say Spanky and the Great Leader going at it and calling it as such there would be no real purpose of such an implication because it would be unlikely to the extreme that a recent joiner would be the one controlling HABite forces, neh?
Unless Supreme Commander is significantly different from my expectations, that is.

Are you implying that you think Supreme Commander will have no multiplayer?

Ah. I see my mistake.
Forgot Alliances. *kicks his feet abashedly*
I was trying to figure out how to do anything more than 1v1 without HAB fighting HAB and MM fighting MM and forgot that in every single RTS there are... y'know... team settings, so I concluded that a 1v1 was the only option.
It's 12:35 AM, okay?
I think it's time to step back, get some caffeine, and see if that helps take the stupid away.

You mean it's
only 12:35 AM.
The last time I read about SupCom's multiplayer it said 8 players max. I don't recall any mention of all the particular multiplayer options.
They might increase that number to something like TA's 10 players.

I'm going to laugh at you now. Laugh at you through the glorious radiation shielding provided by the GREAT LEADER before you are executed via nuclear blast.
Heavy Armor Brigade Supreme Commander Objective Interim Nuclear Powered Ultimate Victory Over Mecha Scum Multiplayer Matching System For The Glory Of The GREAT LEADER will be present and fully functional for double the budget quoted at the last appropriations meeting.
HABSCOINPUVOMSMMSFTGOTGL shall be the most perfect system in existance. Anyone who even has a hint of doubt shall be sent to HAB re-education camps and be the first horrifying human wave to demoralize the great enemy.

8 seems a little slim, but I guess things would get crowded.

HAB+MM: We can't. We nuked them to oblivion. And now you will join them.

The Devs have already said the limit is a 'soft' one which mods can change

32 player limit? lol.
The maps themselves will probably still put a limit on the number of players, unless it's gut-bustingly easy to edit them.

People make maps for just about any RTS that lets you import user-made maps - I doubt SCOM will be much different.

then again, the maps are freakin' HUGE. I'm sure one of the maps at least will support 24 players total. I'm just worried about the lag that would cause...

This is what LAN parties and gigabit ethernet were created for.
