The film editor's floor.

And, between the three of these franchises, more Star Trek film has hit the floor than either of the other two combined.
In the context of debate on this board, that's a completely irrelevant observation. The versus debate is based on the assumption that the events depicted in the television shows and movies being discussed are accurate depictions of events.

It's called "suspension of disbelief".
"This is supposed to be a happy occasion... Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who."
-- The King of Swamp Castle, Monty Python and the Holy Grail

"Nothing of consequence happened today. " -- Diary of King George III, July 4, 1776

"This is not bad; this is a conspiracy to remove happiness from existence. It seeks to wrap its hedgehog hand around the still beating heart of the personification of good and squeeze until it is stilled."
-- Chuck Sonnenburg on Voyager's "Elogium"

I HATE ruffles in my cape! Do you know how stupid I look with ruffles? I'm supposed to be scary! How am I supposed to scare anybody wearing Valendamned ruffles?
:P
And what do you expect when you enter the debate with a proposition that has not just been debunked, but shot down, hacked to pieces and and then have the pieces set on fire scores of times (I'm inclined to say hundreds of times) before?
See TedC's reply for the relevance (or lack thereof) of the rest of your post.
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

Why does the producers milking the franchise cash cow make it better?

And this is why I rarely browse PSW, PST and SWvST, I argued these points for several years already. Now I like OST and Fantasy for looking at some NEW ideas.

Are you attempting to insinuate that somewhere in the heaps and piles of Trek footage which hit the cutting room floor are the magic scenes which would somehow, someway reverse a million to one firepower disadvantage? Just how many meticulously planned, heinously expensive FX shots do you think got cut, anyway?
