No further info has been released, however there are now two options.
Either Gates was bombastic and Halo 3 is nowhere near ready to ship.
Or that they're waiting to blitz us with Halo 3 marketing within a few months.

Or it's not the US launch he's talking about, but rather the European(Or help us the Aussy launch) launch, they still have a few months to play with if they time it to THOSE launchs.
(Nevermind the whole "FIFA 360 only thing will play in Europe, Halo3 at the same time might end up with Sony losing Europe in full(
