I AM - following all the stuttering issues I had early on I turned down EVERYTHING to medium (only leaving on HDR as a high level setting). And that didn't even START to help with the stuttering issues.

Game runs perfectly on following settings:
1680x1050res
Medium Model Detail(H), Medium Texture Detail(H), High Shader level(*), No color correction(*), Low shadow(*), Simple reflection(*), no AA(*), Bilinear filtering(*), No HDR(*)
Note, the suggested settings is in ()s; * meaning I'm using the suggested.

Thats well below medium on all settings, and I've got a somewhat more powerful machine than you. It looks like you've just got to turn things down.

What are ethe suggested settings?

Oh, and what are you sliders for Particle density, Total, and Lifetime?
I've got
Density - 2 bars from fastest
Lifetime - Richest
Total - Fastest

Dude, that's hilarious. Widescreen with a 7800gt, and you can't run it on medium? Terrible.

Yeah, it was no criticism of your machine. I don't feel at all bad about how poorly the demo ran on my system, anymore.

Is it WORTH the shocking performance? The demo wasn't very impressive, but was the highest load I've ever seen. Where's all the performance going?

AAARGH! I've now tried it with EVERY-SINGLE-FUCKING-OPTION TURNED DOWN TO MINIMUM - and guess what - it just crashed QUICKER.

I am unable to play now until that shit is PATCHED. FUCK.

Yeah, that's a pretty common complaint - a lot of people in the official patch thread on the M&M forum are really unloading on the devs about having a demo that ran brilliantly and without crashing yet having a release product that for about 25-30% of buyers has been damn near unplayable half the time.

Finished the game last night, quite enjoyable.

I saved it at the point where you have the choice to cleanse yourself in the holy waters of that Temple, and it annoyed me how you're rewarded for cleansing yourself with the ability to use that awesome sword (and the awesome staff, daggers, and bow that are gifted to you in the temple, later) that does the most damage in the game and even more amounts of damage to undead, but if you decide to keep the demon taint, you're stuck with the weapons you had (the best one being the flaming sword + bow, unless there's a lightning sword I missed out on?)- and you have less skill points, too.

One bug I noticed- if you cleanse yourself, Xana speaks to you once after, when Percy is opening the grate for you, even though she's gone.

Also, the lightning shield is supposed to be indestructible, but when I fought Arantir, I think the dragon broke it?

Oh, and to whomever said magic was weak - The dragon you have to face towards the end of the game, the one you are supposed to kill with the ballista, a fully spec'd mage can down him without taking damage or using a potion. Calmly turn your shield on, walk out into the open and fire a good number of firebolts (the weak kind) at him, guiding them. You might even kill him before you get adrenaline.

Shields can break, weapons can't. Normal shields have a 100/100 (or whatever number) indicator in the inventory to indicate how close they are to breaking.

The Lightning Shield however is listed as Indestructible.
