Joscelin glanced briefly at the potential prey, considering having a snack, before grunting and heading off to investigate other Kindred haunts and hang-outs. The rabble are never around when you need them, and swarm in numbers when you don't, he mused bitterly.

Mark took the number of the Assamite and then looked to the others. "Shall we continue gentlemen? The night is no longer young."

With that Mark continued down towards the study.

The study was very Victorian England, casual elegance done in dark colours. At the moment, some of the city's most powerful Kindred were present. Prince Wright was standing, a tall broadshouldered vampire wearing a dark, old fashioned suit with a gold signet ring on his right hand. An even bigger, dark haired vampire, wearing slacks, a white shirt and suit jacket, leaned in the corner.

Besides the prince's man, several primogen and their representatives were in attendance. A white haired and stately woman in her late forties sat on a chair, her movements elegant and precise. Near Madame Tierny was a short, slim man in a conservative suit with a silver handled cane. The Windham's gaze flickered around the room, occassionaly resting on th e small Nosferatu wrapped up in a coat several sizes too large for him. Only Morley's golden eyes and a shock of bristly hair were visible.

Jacob Silverstone was pacing impatiently. He was wearing business casual without the jacket and had his sleeves rolled up, exposing faded tattoos and scars. The Brujah primogen was a beefier even than Wright's man and almost as tall. His gaze rests on the young vampires entering for a moment before returning to the prince. "My people," he growled, "aren't disposable."

"I can assure you," Wright responded coldly, "I think nothing of the kind. I have both the Sheriff and the Scourge on it. That should tell you that I'm serious."

Kyle searched the office quickly, taking with him what seemed of interest. The safe was a bummer, though. He didn't have the skills to open it, and getting it out of the office would be a bit tricky for him. He quickly walked out of the office, and stealthily moved to a spot where he could observe the office and stay hidden in the shadows using Obfuscate. The police should call up the real estate agent. So he might have someone to tell him all the important parts.

It was about five minutes before the Richmond RCMP showed up. They poked around and taped off the area. About half an hour later a small Chinese man showed up in a suit. He spent about another half hour talking with the cops before they left.

He looked around. "This will serve," said the Lord.

"Thank you lord," said his retainer.

"See to the rest. And bring me someone who won't be missed."

"Yes lord." The retainer bowed and retreated. His lord's . . . . appetites could be considerable and his lords had requirements beyond that of mere hunger.
