Also, if the preacher wants Imperial Guard Pants (tm), he can have them for a handful of gelt. No need to post too much about it. They would clearly be military BDUs though.

He actually explained the plan as soon as the Lt. left the building. Might've gotten buried.
I know he did, though I don't think he talked to Lazarus yet. I believe you agreed to tell me about as part of a deal you made with your backup, but you just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I interpreted "voidborn" to just be "Born in space" so that's what I'm going with for Camillia. She only spent a couple years (3 or so) on the ship before it returned to realspace and she arrived on Cadian soil. She hasn't spent the majority of her life on a ship, in fact, she's spent a lot of it up to mid-teens on Cadia, and years after that getting sanctioned on Terra.

Voidborn is raised, and usually born, in space. If you've spent a couple of years in space you're an x worlder with some space experience.

It could be possible that a troopship carrying Cadians was marooned in the warp and what followed was simply nature taking it's course and when it emerged it had a bunch of Children who had been trained in Cadian fashion. Or that a Cadian ship crew might have maintained their traditions of training even in the cramped ships conditions. Both do seem somewhat unlikely however, and neither would produce a true Whiteshield.

Okay, enough. Time for GM fiat.
Either rework your stats for Imperial Homeworld or rework your history for voidborn. I will quote from the rulebook to illuminate:
Void Born PCs
You have called the interior of a hulking vessel or space station home all your life.
You can come from a warship that has a primarily Cadian crew, but you cannot have the benefits of Cadian world training. This makes more sense anyway, as it's easier for the Inquisitor to have heard of you and sent for you from a random warship that maybe appeared in this sector due to the inconsistencies of the warp, rather than having you shipped all the way from Cadia itself.

Uh, so I'm moving into an apartment tomorrow... despite my best efforts I'll probably be without internet access for at least the weekend... can I have my character's actions be somewhat automated for a little while or something?

Sure, I'll assume you're protecting the group you're currently with, and we'll make sure you don't die too much in combat.

Mmmm.... energy critical hit 10 to the body, its a beautiful thing to do to someone else, especially when they're carrying ammunition.
I can't wait to see them talk their way out of this one. It'll give me pointers for later.

Right so a lot has happened. And octavius' ass is safe

(for now)
K so he's heading back to the base to talk to the Captain about his plan to go investigating. He's going to ask for equipment as well.

You mean he's going to ask to talk to the Captain directly?

Hey Sylas, want to go preaching in the Hive now that you have pants, or would you prefer to join the expedition to figure out what is in these lockers.
Also, if Octavius had you know, stuck around, he would have discovered all the help the Captain was going to give us right away has already been handed out. Just saying, you know. Although you did get some good intel there.

Yes he's going to ask the Captain directly. Considering he doesn't know what's going on with the rest of the group and doesn't trust any of them to any degree, he's going to the person who he's under the the "command" of. If he gets chewed out that's fine but I'm trying to avoid the whole metagaming bit. One would assume that he would ask the captain directly since he left quickly and didn't receive orders to the quartermaster. Nor does he want to interact with the guardsmen.

by Academia Nut
Well, would he really ask the captain considering we were all but given a direct order to leave him alone? The Captain clearly doesn't want us around for various reasons, so would it be in character to try and talk to the captain under such circumstances?

by Hotfoot
So, in order to avoid contact with the guardsmen, you're going to walk into the guardsman base, ask where the captain is, go to where the captain is, which is likely in conference with the base's Colonel, then try to interrupt him in the meeting after you were already dismissed.
All after the Lieutenant your crew has royally pissed off has had a few hours to stew over you.
Okay, post it.

This is going to make all the rest of our lives more difficult, isn't it?
Hey Sylas, want to go get in a firefight instead of sticking around here?

Remember, the chat is still going. Just join aim chat sdndh, or invite yourself if you're having trouble.
Also, don't forget to get skype and look for hotfootb5, and get OpenRPG. It really does speed combat along.

Okay, there's been enough confusion.
There's one group that followed the instructions left in the crate to lockers at a Transit station, which is where they found a general map of the hive and several sets of local clothing. They are well outside the barracks at this point.
In fact, most of the group is outside the barracks right now. Two are in the underhive, one is on his way back from an Arbites precinct, and about six are at the transit station with the lockers.
Sylas, you might want to revise the post accordingly.
And yes, we are all going to pretend that Feil's new character has been with the group since the beginning. I know it's a bit of a pain, but it's still early enough in the game that a retcon isn't that big of a deal.
