Firefight going on through a false wall downstairs. Ajax trying to cut a hole in the wall, the others just trying suppressive blind-fire through it. Mithras pegged a grenade through a hole in the wall. Now everyone downstairs is participating in an excercise in synchronized shitting worthy of defeating the Swiss Guard upon being notified that the Empire is attaching the Vatican. Why? Because the dude on the other side just return-to-sendered the grenade.

So I'm trying to grab the grenade and throw it back into the other room, Crom is trying to jump on the grenade, and Ajax is trying to carve his way INTO the other room.

No good can possibly come from this.

As a side note, I missed Mithras actually doing as he was told and throwing a grenade in after Scar told him to; is that a grenade that's being thrown back or one being thrown by someone in that room?

This is what I love about running a...well, somewhat differently sane character in a high-lethality environment. No other character I've ever run would have concluded that Ajax's personal plan for grenade survival is a good idea.

Good, that means there is at least a chance the guy screwed up and set the timer fairly long, and I'll have time to grab the thing and lob it back to him before it goes off. Assuming Crom doesn't land on me and Ajax doesn't step on me.

Then again I suppose me ending up with an augmetic arm is better than Crom ending up with an augmetic upper torso.

But I have a good three layers of character shielding!
