It would appear so. We've left STGOD 2008 in the
dust
Whatddya know, Zor has managed to think up an attractive RAR for once

Once this STGOD runs down I'm going to Petition Mike to have the whole thing added to the famous threads list.

BTW who wants to see how my new hammers do?
we kinda need to test the prototypes, yes, we are aware that at least half of them are going to be turned into scrap before testing is done.

I don't mind seeing what they can do. Do they use superconducting magnets?

Random acts of violence by silly cultists, and PETA like organisations.

Yeah, not much serious. My nation sort of isolated itself, fancying arms trade, industrial programs and space rocketry/spacecraft reserach mostly.
I guess that's until the next round of atomic craze
P.S. Shep, we also track you. Even a Cat House type radar of which Shroom has aside his railgun complex and the tower-based anti-orbital HEL some can track that booming hulk of an aircraft, and the Don-2NP of course even more so

just FYI

Not to mention, I ought to be receiving those Stratellites with Phase Array Radars pasted on them and OTH scanning the sky like mad for anything coming at Byzantium soon. Range should encompass much of Neverhood. (So Shroom, have you delivered or not?)
And then I should be getting the first of the A380 AEW&C aircraft by next year...

by Shroom Man 777
Oh, I'll deliver! Don't worry!
Also: Cat House radar? Is that cool, or is it outdated? Should I update my radar systems?
EDIT:
How can Shep go testing fancy technologies when his entire country has been ravaged by civil war? Are his people not dying from cholera and malnutrition?
EDIT 2:
How many stratellites does Byzantium want?

I'm currently running the IRT mostly on autopilot, since there's nothing particularly interesting going on that needs my attention, though test-firing some new AALMs on the ecoterrorists would be rather fun

I assume we can also auto-buy and auto-pay for tech and stuff from you. Is that alright?
And don't worry, Tonkin will be fine. Though I might send FIA agents to Alexandria to incite those peasant workers to rebel and create *gasp*
worker unions! Let's see how you ruthless capitalists will like that

And of course, I'm watching with that giant OTH system I built, though obviously with a very precise fix.

Yes, though I thought you guys had trade sanctions on me after the nuclear incident
That said, we pretty much buy and sell anything and everything short of CBRN weapons (not that we
have CBW, mind you).

Your propaganda is no match for my corporate brainwashing. Soon the peasants will speak nothing but corporate-speak, making it impossible for FIA agents to communicate without wanting to shoot themselves in the head.

I announced a huge cut a while back in my military -- and this isn't that fancy -- basic extrapolation of 1960s technology....

Yes, but your country was nuked

could you point us to the amunt of ravage it caused? 30% of your industry? 40%? Seriously, you should be building factories etc. to feed the people and make the best of irradiated pastures

Huge cuts in military are incompatible with civil wars. Even given the fact that you won, a lot of infrastructure was destroyed, making the military you have, proportionally more expensive as a % of GDP.
Second, scramjets are definitely not basic extrapolations of 1960s technology. We're just now getting small scale flightweight engines that actually deliver net thrust.

Well The Sroomites are welcome to try labour organizing in Alexandria. Such things may be difficult to say the least. Alexander has the opinion that he personally knows what's best for the citizens of Alexandria.
Also Phongn, you have likely been the source of Indopal's continued air defense network upgrades, just FYI.

Douglas Aircraft would be happy to sell you plenty of C-130s.
Excellent, but they obviously wouldn't come in time for this present operation.
How much do they cost per plane?
Approximately $65 million/plane. Price depends on how many you buy. If you only buy 4 (for example), the cost is much higher. Also, the price varies depending on whether you get the standard J, or the stretched model.
That much for a regular C-130J? A bit much, but still worth considering.
Speaking of which, what happened to the
AT-45D? Are you still producing those?

Yeah, it's that much in real life. Sad, but true. On the other hand, you do end up with the most efficient and modern version of the C-130. All digital cockpit and all that jazz.
Still producing the AT-45D. I should probably give an update on it's uptake by the TXAF.

Hammer Prototype:
Armoured Ground Effect Vehicle
skirt titanium alloy with rubber overlay
Armour Ceramic
arment 70mm gauss gun, firing sabot rounds
secondary, 20mm automatic gun
propulsion, 6x lift fan 2x thrust fan (rear) (rear fans are larger and can be used for left/right turning by cutting power or reversing)

How.. and what gives this thing the lift??

Can those fans really... do the trick!? And the fuel!

It looks like a copy of a Hammer's Slammer vehicle. I don't have the engineering experience to say whether it'd work, but I doubt it. And the recoil from the gun would probably flip the tank if it did.

With drug smugglers niw flying more of an air force then he has, Alexander is going to wanting aircraft for himself ssoon. Is anyone willing to sell to him? And would others allow such a sale?
