The orgies are the only inventions of Nero Caligula (that guy who Maximus killed in an epic battle of Heraculanean proportions) that the Elysian government kept. The other stuff, like sacrificing virgins and unholy rituals, got canned. But the orgies were kept since that was one of his only decent reforms.

Admiral Quirino is one of the best personnel managers in the Umerian navy. He is taking every precaution to avoid exposing any of his personnel to Elysian culture without making sure they can handle it gracefully. This is one of the more important reasons that the goodwill visit will
probably succeed.

You know, "Q...is an asshole" should be the game's tagline

Or
all "Squadrons" were numbered sequentially and the designations change (such as how the 82nd Airborne Division is really the 82nd Division of the US Army; 10th Mountain being the same, etc).
This one. It's the 17th squadron currently operating, and contains four battlecruisers.

I beleive the question is, what aren't the Collectors doing? Probably a shorter, and less depressing list.

I'm just going to announce now that I'm putting the NenAltKik on hiatus. A combination of time issues and an inability to come up with something I want to write is completely hampering me and I can't think of what to do. So, sorry to everyone expecting something, but I just can't manage it at the moment. I might try to pick it back up later, but don't get too hopeful.
Chalk it up to internal instability due to colonial outbursts.

Well, that's what usually happens to X-COM...

Seeing as how that defense pact is... pretty important, in my view pretty essential to my national security, I would like to ask the mods that the NenAltKik be kept in the game.
Obviously mod judgement would be called for in terms of when their support might or might not be available; the terms of the agreement are such that I would not call on them for meaningful support in the event of a "war of choice" in any case.
Conversely, any attempt to start screwing around at Akhlut's expense while he's not around would be meet an extremely unfavorable reaction from the Umerians.

Since he's only taking a hiatus due to time constraints and his polity has had interactions, it's not being removed.

What time is it in the game? March? April?
EDIT: And the Centrality reacts against the Space Pirates.

This week we're finishing up March-April stuff. Next week will be April-May-June for people who have story material they need covered in these time periods. The week after that we go to July, though in one case we've already had a story post set then. Actually, I've had two set in
September.

More like I moved them ahead since it was stretching credibility to have everything happening at once like that, and the further time frame is beneficial to the story.

I had originally suggested to Shroom that the HALF BRAIN WHORE should have a HAREM of DOLPHINS. Plenty of bastard children, and actual acknowledged children, along with some incest.
Alas, he said he'd be too weird.

For Shroom, the bizarre is perfectly normal.
