The guages are only purple if you're playing an Elite.Zaia wrote:Saw it for the first time on Thursday. I like how all the meters and gauges and things are purple. Very badass in a girly kind of way. And the music's pretty cool too, but I'll probably only play 'capture the flag' with it, like I did with the first one. I won't cry over it like some other people I know. *snickers and looks in a certain board member's direction*
Coagulation. I love that map to death.Dartzap wrote:is the MAC Warthog on any of the Multi maps? all the ones ive seen are just Chain Guns

What? You're in HAB and didn't know that immediately from memory? Off to the People's Museum with you for a little discussion with Comrade Hipper!Agent Fisher wrote:ok did a quick bit of digging. It designation means it is a Guided Missle Firgate.

EDIT: And yes, I tried pressing B.
It was late! I had been going for a while with out sleep! Please forgive me!Rogue 9 wrote:What? You're in HAB and didn't know that immediately from memory? To make it easier for them to board the wraiths when we're in them, and to make it harder for us to board them when they're in them. It hasn't stopped me any though.Because apparently only the AI can use them. Why Bungie didn't put them in, even if only for SP, is beyond me.
They took it out because they couldn't find any way to implement it into the game. As in, it was essentially useless.Ghost Rider wrote:They were thinking of putting in one, but decided against for time sake.thecreech wrote:Wait? No way to implement it? You mean it wouldn't work with the game engine, or what? I can't see why not.DPDarkPrimus wrote:They took it out because they couldn't find any way to actually implement it into the game.Ghost Rider wrote:They were thinking of putting in one, but decided against for time sake.thecreech wrote:Wait? Ah, I have fond memories of locking on to a Warthog as the driver is screaming for everyone to get out.Dartzap wrote:Two or three actually, and by the time the secound rocket has been let loose, you will have shouted at your comrades to get the hell of your ride
I have fond memories from the driver of an enemy warthog yelling "oh shit!" as I perfectly time my jump from a ledge to land on top of it, jack the gunner, and kill them all.Losonti Tokash wrote:Ah, I have fond memories of locking on to a Warthog as the driver is screaming for everyone to get out.Dartzap wrote:Two or three actually, and by the time the secound rocket has been let loose, you will have shouted at your comrades to get the hell of your ride
Bah, you could say that about getting into any vehicle. You could similarly say "being anywhere in the open is a good way to get yourself killed by a sniper!"Rogue 9 wrote:Specter is just a good way to get your entire team killed with one rocket.
Two more stories, one of which was inspired by OXM's review of the game:Isil`Zha wrote:I have fond memories from the driver of an enemy warthog yelling "oh shit!" as I perfectly time my jump from a ledge to land on top of it, jack the gunner, and kill them all.![]()
heh. Actually, that Warthog jacking I was speaking of, I did it twice to the same team on Zanzibar. I waited on the edge of the fan (the side by the sniper rifle) and just jumped down when they drove passed.Losonti Tokash wrote:Two more stories, one of which was inspired by OXM's review of the game:Isil`Zha wrote:I have fond memories from the driver of an enemy warthog yelling "oh shit!" as I perfectly time my jump from a ledge to land on top of it, jack the gunner, and kill them all.![]()
1) Jumped off a catwalk on Ascension and jacked the Banshee, sending the poor bastard to his doom.
2) Zanzibar: I had the sniper rifle, but neglected my motion tracker. As such, an enemy tried to sneak up on me. Instead of being smart and switching to a close range weapon, I started shooting him and scored a headshot, but not on him. Instead, I blew away one of his comrades that was driving a ghost (I was still killed without mercy).
