Les fight a little, ok?
My computer crashed, I said it yesterday. But yeah. Let's fight a little.
I need the composition of the forces you have at the Pervatia system (Borealis). Just FYI, there is nothing left in Borealis either on its surface or its orbit. The shipyards and battlestations were relocated at Australis, in the same system.
I also would want to know if I get to learn something from the FTL probes that my frigate launched to the worlds of the Edean march.

Also, I would like to know if the sensor networks are near the planet or scattered all around the place. If it is the former, Thirdfain's fighters aren't going to blow shit until my fleet is blown to bits. If it is the later, I have also fighters around and they won't allow them to blow the sensors with impunity and his heavies won't protect the fighters unless he decides to divide his fleet in portions so small that it will make the individual portions very vulnerable to attack from my own ships.

Murazor, since I'm not taking the time to do anything more than vape the shipyards and the early warning sensor platforms at Bohica and Talathrant, and considering the fact that I have around oh, forces equivelent to half your navy at each of the targets, I should be able to finish up in a matter of a few minutes- and my attack of Sixatris was timed to land a full hour after my attack in Bohica, giving me the time I need to finish the shpyards off and move out in a matter of minutes. My Talathrant and Bohican fleets are, even as you meet with the 4th, on the move.

Oh no, whatever shall we do.. Oh yea, sit and laugh as your terrorist attacks hit the planetary shield...

Oh, and Murazor, you be right about your Early Warning nets. I'm not sure if they'd be across the system or in planet orbit. I'd suspect across the system, but if you say otherwise, it's cool and I'll retract that.

Murazor, for this battle- I'm gonna say, how about, 20-25% losses for the 4th War Cluster as it closes with your fleet, with you taking 30% or so from my counterfire. Is that fair? Since I have a full escort screen as opposed to the krytos fleet who is taking a much harder hit, and have the torpedo weapons to counterfire as I approach?
Then, your losses will increase rapidly at gun range thanks to N^2 and Ouster armament, and then mine will increase as your reinforcement fleet shows up, and then YOURS will increase when My reinforcement fleet shows up. That disco?
-edit- actually, I'm going to focus ALL my torpedo fire on your missile escorts, so your fleet as a whole will take less losses, but so will mine (as I'll eat through your throw weight pretty fast with my firepower superiority), so how bout 10-15% losses for the Ousters and 20% losses for the White Suns in the missile duel, with the losses on you landing almost entirely on your missile frigate screen?

Considering that you have a strong initial numerical advantage even with the planetary defenses, it seems fair to me.
What about the scanning of the Edean march, then?

Oh, ok, cool. I suspect you want to react to my arrival in Australis, then

If they are scattered all over the system you would need an insane amount of fighters to take it down given the enormous volume (and I would need another insane amount of fighters to stop yours). Either we lose our fighter screens or the sensor network is relatively close to the planet (satellites perhaps?) and it is going to stay untouched until the fighting gets close to the planet.

Ok, cool. My interceptors are then doing as sai in my post, sticking with my carriers. I'll edit my first post.

What losses do you think our forces should suffer during this second stage? I think that about a 15% for mine and perhaps 7-10% for yours would be right (the proportion would have improved over time for you, but at the beginning of the gun fight you don't have me that badly outnumbered and I have the defenses for support).

One more thing and this is important. Are your interdictors set only for stopping ships or also torpedoes? Because, the "no FTL at all" mode must be a lot more power-intensive and its range smaller than the general anti-ship interdiction field.

Just ships. At these ranges, the firepower of capship guns far outweighs missile firepower, and a furball like this makes firing into it from range a tricky proposition.
As for losses, I have another Carrier down and a Cataphract taking heavy hits- I suspect heavier losses amongst your ships. Plus some cruisers, 1 dead, 2 disabled, and few escorts (unless you arre focuing fire upon them.)
Besides, I DO have you outnumbered 3 to 2, which is badly outnumbered, and my ships are designed for this sort of head-on fight. You'll bleed hard. I suspect to in the end lose about 20-30% of my fleet with your fleet all the way dead- N^2 hurts you.

Meh. I am trying to catch up lovelies, but it is going to take me a little while. I know I owe posts to the Asgard with the Tortugans and a representative of the Blood King. I will be dealing with these posts ASAP!

Wait, how do you mean unaccountably vanished? Is it still heading for my space but you just gave control over, or do you mean that it's off to some undisclosed location? Either one is cool and I dont need to know what that undisclosed location is, I just need clarity on that post....

Sounds like undisclosed location. Anywho, if he's giving control to me, I say undisclosed location.

*spooky voice*they could be
anywhere. *end spooky*
Quite honestly, I wanted to have a big honking slugfest with you, but the needs of the Alliance prevailed. The location is so undisclosed, even I have no idea where it is right now.

But seriously, we have joint planning sessions, are all running our own campaigns, have unified shipping protection... I mean, whoa. You guys don't even know where they are going.
