On what justification?
The United Protectrates will do what it can to ensure a peaceful end to this, but if you want war... Then quit playing games and let's dance.
Most people are trying to make a peaceful end to this, but if Alyrium doesn't stand down and allow for full disclosure, he's basically admitting that he helped the Siliconoids in the Rape of Terra.

Do you want war? Look at the nations and evidence around you. The Arcane Empire fucked up big, the only way out of it for them (that I can see) is to bend over backwards to open themselves up for our inspections, or to declare a coup in the government and start acting less arrogant and modernize some more. In anycase you shouldn't have to get into this, unless you really really really want war, which no other nation wants.

Try paying attention to my ingame post. I've already stating my willingness to help you find out the truth. However I'm getting tired of dancing around the fact that Thridfain has been pushing at Aly since day one.

Because Aly made himself pushable by Thirdfain from day one, and Thirdfain exploited that. That's what happens in an STGOD. To be quite fair we did the same thing in STGOD-I and paid for it, we learned from our mistakes and now we use the winning strategies from both sides and stopped using the certain-death strategies from way back way, others either by lack of experience, role-playing their nation, or any other fill in the blanks haven't done that.

I've yet to see Thridfain push at anyone else. Instead I see the birth of magic proof assassins in a few months. Untracable agents starting revolts and citizens being autoed.
No Dice.
My statment stands.

1: Exploitation of a one-dimensional empire with a single source of power, and my assassins are HARDLY magic-proof. In fact, dozens of my agents have died.
2: Pressing against the OBVIOUS weak-point of the ridiculously poorly managed Arcane occupation, combined with the fact that my agents only operated for a brief period before going underground
3: Obvious weak-points in a flawed system being exploited. Sorry, but if you are going to be a free democracy, you will have dissent. Unless Pablo censures it, I would ask that you stop acting as if it was a powergaming crime.
Frankly, Frigid, it's called going after the weakest link. I started screwing about on Ix'agal merely in response to Alyrium's detestably stupid post about how happy everyone was to bow to his rule. From there, it simply became easy to exploit the hole I'd made and being working myself into a position of power.
Frigid, it's also called metagaming. I've worked hard to keep this under the hood. I would appreciate it if you didn't immediatly discount my efforts (and your lack of effort against it.)

Lack of effort nothing. Who was it that put a stop to your little terrorist operations?
The rest of it wasn't something I could do much about, I'll grant you. However My statement stands and will not be retracted.

You complain that I've been working from behind the scenes. It was clear that the Ix'agal resistance had outside funding, and NO major operation was mounted to find out the source. You have no one to blame but yourselves. Frankly, I've plotted, Monacora has plotted, the Machines have plotted, and even the VEithans have plotted. You, on the other hand, have not. If you find that the in-game situation isn't to your liking, then change it cleverly, don't just say "Well, OOC I know Thirdfain is behind this, so I'm going to blow up his nation first! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Heh, I do believe that's true. I may very well have taken that from you subconsciously.
BTW, isn't that the German version of apostrophes?

Everyone is posting fleet movements at once, so I would like to stress the time factor here. Currently, all that is in system is the Monacoran troop transports and a portion of Aly's fleet (in addition to my ships). Earth is probably the closest system to Aly, and any other core systems would be pretty close. Forces coming from core systems would arrive first, followed several hours later by those coming from outer systems. I said Ravenlock would arrive first because Hotfoot is moving from Earth. Anyone else will just have to accept the fact that I will have an hour or two in-system by myself. No one will arrive sooner because no one else posted fleet movements before I began my attack.
Aly, since your ships are in-system, you can move in. Not all are in the immediate theater of battle, though, so you should post what is in orbit around Toril (and if you say everything, thats bull, and you know it. Probably closer to 1/3 of your forces, at most). You can move the rest of your ships in, but it will take, say, 20 minutes for them to arrive.
Just trying to avoid a clutter here. And Dahak, I replied to your post, but your ships couldnt be in the Toril system yet. I will treat that as though you are in hyperspace and transmitting ahead of yourself.

I sent the ships from Earth as soon as it was known.
I appeared several pages (and a day in real tiem) of game tread later on in system, so I am there.
btw, not using hyperspace travel here, just wormhole transit.

Lets assume the same with my fleet, the "where would we deploy" question makes more sense that way too.

The Baeloaren fleet departed from the edge of the Sol system and would arrive at around the same time as the Ravenlock ships. I would guess that next might be Vethian and Lazerus?

Should I not already be present in the system (which I still think I am), my forces would be arriving before the Veithans, as I left prior to them.

So then Ravenlock, Gladsheim and Baeloaren fleets will arrive first, anyone else care to declare their departure locations? Oh, and where are Vethians coming from, earth also?

My fleet would be departing from Jardan, which we've established as being a good distance from Sparta, which is on the far side of the arcane empire. Which makes it a medium istance from Toril.
So I guess we would be arriving shorly after the above mentioned.

It will be 2-3 days until the Ouster fleet can arrive from Hudson, but I'll note that I have the 3rd War Cluster in the region, probably only a couple of hours out.

Fair enough.
And for anyone else who is wondering, this is an entirely in-character deal. I have built my fleet commander as a very blue-collar hates-politics person even before this. If he has evidence, he will attack. I am sorry, Aly, I dont mean to pick on you, but this is what my guy would do in this situation. Run or defend yourself.

I don't think so... at least not yet. Once I have control over Arcane space we will consider what to do on the ground. I dont think a full-scale invasion would be called for. Again, doing this in-character, we would want a strike force to break open some of their intelligence centers and find out the info we need: not an occupation force.
