ok, now answer me this.

Am i perpared enough to join the game, OOB wise

Looks good enough to me, but one little thing bothers me- you are called the Confederation of Human Worlds, when your nation will in fact encompass a very small fraction of the inhabited human worlds of Known Space- for god's sakes, you don't even control earth (That goes to the Principality of Monacora.)

As long as you know that and don't mind the conceit, you are set. I for one will call your people the Spartans.

well, when we settled, there werent many other colonies and we took our three worlds quickly, and were just plain arrogant.

But yes call my people the Spartans. the Title is just a formallity.

Dude... join the accord... nice and reasonable. Unlike the two alliance blocks that are currently going at it(myself included)

We already have a Sparta system too, though. The 9 planet system of the Krynor, that is also controlled by a joint Monacoran-Krell agreement.

There was a Republic of Krynor, after pulling a few stupid moves they were conquered. Their main system was, and is, Sparta. It has nine habitable planets, and is currently controlled by both Monacora and the Krell. This could cause some confusion in the future (as would New Rome, I think there's already a planet [probably glassed now] with that name, not too sure though.) Just thought you might want to know.

No problem with me. I (Krell) changed my planets names in the Sparta system just to avoid this kind of confusion, so it's all good. And if you start talking about Sparta, we will know what you mean.

As to how to enter, a BAD way to start is "hi, heres my nation, I join this alliance, go me." It's kind of abrupt. Think it out in-character.... why haven't we seen you around before this? Have you been a neutral power beyond notice? First contact? Whatever, its up to you. Make it interesting and I will like you.

And get your ass on the map ASAP. PM Hotfoot about that one.

Not to mention the two Farpoints. And you don't know where mine is! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Who were involved over the time period... the UP, the Nashtar, the Arcanists, the Krytos... well golly gee whiz bath man? I wonder what those nations have in common.
I might also point out that the nature of the people differs from the nature of the government, I.E. George Bush might have quite a few strongly held views, but the rest of the nation doesn't necessarilly share them.
