Well, I'm glad you'll think it will be pretty straightforward to get international aid moving into libertopia. The problem would be keeping it impartial; its not like impartial buracrats fall from the sky. If we want, we could say everyone negotiates for three months to work out the details, but the basics are as follows in our posts (or something similiar). That would be a lot more fun than working it out all ourselves!

A note to Bear the UKB has no miners in Terra Libertia, we have "geological teams" IE survey crews. Just a retro-con, the IRT has mining locked up in Alexander's land as far as I know(Raj?) however the UKB mining teams are seeking to find unexplored resources considering how poorly the land is surveyed in Terra Libertia.

This is a materials list, based on the list I can now make a number of pronouncements.
One, current Oil production is roughly million barrels a day. I've given Lonestar old production values not current so he jumps from one million a day to nine million. Baal gets two million due to the size of his country, same for the Shadow Empire, the Bear off-shore oil fields are four million on top of that(They are worked by three different countries), Pezook and Zor each net lets say 700 thousand per day and Terra Libertia adds another million potential, lets say 100 thousand active.
Which leaves us at 18.5 million barrels a day, roughly 21.8% of total Old Earth Production.
Not that it really means anything, unless Pezook or Stas wants to try and calculate demand to get a Gas price, I can tell you with less than a billion people in the world, demand is no where close to jacking prices through the roof.

Minor correction: The Duchy of Langley is also a manganese supplier. However, seeing as quite a few nations are already silicon suppliers, I think I'll swap out silicon for magnesium.

Ehhh.. I'm not going to set everything in stone yet. The basic idea, the UKB's three leading Industry's are Aerospace and all the related fields, second is the mining of raw Materials and the things that relate to that(For example BIG supplier of Platinum and Gold based Jewelry and ordainments the like)
And the third major area is trained workers, I have so many construction projects going on it's not even funny. Building something the size of White Sand's takes huge numbers of workers if you want it done fast, then use those same workers in Atlantis, then back in White Sands for more construction projects then the Spine Mountain bunker complexs then the WMD shelters post Liberaltopia straits incident.
In short I have a whole heap of construction people with lots of experience under the belt and I've just started farming them out to other countries since I don't need them working 24/7. And thanks to the "skilled worker" initiatives I will announce soon I'm aiming for near 60% skilled workforce. With even farmers getting in on the act.

Live views from Saddamstans's beaches of a horde of refugee's being hurded into a temporary interment camp without food, water or medical attention for over twenty four hours now. Let the record show that the "Super Saddam Special-Winter Break, Beach Party Edition!" began on August 19th 2010

Well, good luck to anyone who thinks they can do anything about it. Something to try would be offering to take the refugees, but who knows if Sadaamistan would go for it.

No I'm just waiting for Saddam to get punked by a Tony Montana type....
---edit---
ok, a Dolphin is a Bear Republic Commerical sub. It's battery powered, and needs to be recharged from a mothership. A dolphin holds about a 10 man crew. basically one member of the crew would exit via dive chamber, (it's a commerical sub for underwater welding and salvage operations), cut the mine off it's mooring, attach it to a tow link in the back of the sub, and then move it to a target.
As to where "Necropolis" is the "City of the Damned" is somewhere on this planet, no it's location is only known to some smugglers and pirates.
oh and if your really lucky and get to there in time, you can actually pick up and detain one member of the sub crew. he was in the diving chamber in a ridgid dive suit awaiting release after sucessful detonation. (got to be prepped well ahead of time.) he's kinda running out of air as we speak...

Halfway done...let's see, the ISCA is building a total of 107 FCS-Large this year, so seeing that we're past the halfway point, around 60 should be ready now and undergoing crew training. You want a big ceremony, or will you wait untill the end of the year for another mega-convoy of FCS ships?

By the way, Constantinople Shipyards clinched a deal to build 5 of the fishing vessels. Possibly more orders are on the way, depending on the performance.
Anyhow, Constantinople Shipyards is willing to let 2 of the ships be constructed else where and transported over.
Which reminds me, I'm tempted to have the company start up a salvage unit with all the necessary heavy equipment like dry docks and so forth.

When does your fiscal year start? We just entered September per the time-line.

January, for simplicity's sake. That's when all the production orders are placed. So The Megaconvoy can leave on January 1st, 2011 - or you can receive the FCSs as they come off the final fitting quay.
As for Byzantium's order, I think I can accomodate that into remaining ISCA capacity for the year.
*checks*
Yeah, we can build two of those five fish-killer ACVs no problem.

FYI, the former Liberaltopia President was Volney Faaris per the history I wrote up, I corrected Mr Cray Zee's post. The man is no doctor if he can't get his basic history correct.
Also I have de-sticked all the old threads per RougeIce's suggestion.

Well, let me let you in on a little secret.
Cray Zee is doctor of liberal arts. But he doesn't tell people that very often when he tries to pretend to be a big-shot economist.

Ah Shroom Man the Colonel didn't bring up the concerns about the people suffering in an aid cut off. That was the Indhopal delegation. That said Alexander does care about the people in Alexandria, just in a very paternalist sort of way.

Ah... well, we know Prime Minister Shroom isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer
Also, if we do bring about massive international aid efforts into Libertia, I think ProTec will be hard pressed to provide enough manpower for security duties. And it might not be good to have foreign militaries set foot in Libertia. Hence, I propose employing ex-Shroomanian military mercenaries from
DARK LIQUID.

Dark Liquid is free to try and compete with ProTec if they wish. ProTec was there first and they already have links with two of the warlords and multiple aid agencies. Ramsley is somewhat less than friendly though

Well, it's not like Dark Liquid is gonna be rivaling you in shady black-ops soldier of fortune stuff. They'll do grunt-work, glorified international humanitarian hazard-zone rent-a-cops. Don't count them out, though. They have had experience in Syndromia - basically Libertia Lite. And they're not all Shroomanian, I'm sure a lot of other FUNites are in there - from ex-PeZookian paratrookers, to New Gottish Gurkhas. It's a multicultural bunch that'll work well with the international dudes who'll be coming to help Libertia

Goddamn Libertopians.
I say we arrange that two of the three warlords accidentally brutally stab themselves in the stomach while shaving and support the third one in taking over the country.
It will be much simpler than sending aid and hoping that they all play nice. Besides anything we do in Libertia is pointless unless Saddamistan is dealt with first.
