It's just the idea of adding a dedicated warp drive to a torpedo instead of tapping the warhead for the warp speed there. But when the warhead detonates, something's going to happen to what provides energy to the dedicated warp drive, giving it a lot more kick than a normal photon torpedo.

You'd then need a larger housing. Even then it is an unnecessary complication and expense. If you need a larger housing, why bother with a warp drive and make cheaper just to make the warhead larger?

Well I'm sure we could work our way down a list of things that would have to done, enough so that it'd be a new design from the ground up. It'd be a totally new system. I'm not trying avoiding that point, and would in fact embrace it. That's not exactly a bad thing. It's just something to be aware of.
