Never got any really good cards?

*NEVER* got any *really GOOD* cards?

Bunny? STFU. That deck is damn annoying, with its ability to summon Rebels from your library and the damn profusion of Life-Gaining cards you have.

'Never got any really good cards' ... BuuuullShiiiit!

I nah, I just have annoying cards and massive life gainers in certain situations. An example of a great card would be Coat of Arms, and that would really help my rebel deck pwnzors.

Can anyone give me a link to the latest list of restricted/banned cards? I think the last list I accessed was back during Mirage or so.

And anyone who wants to play, give me a few days (freshmen start moving in tomorrow), and I'll probably be able to play at night (EST).

I gotta move on Saturday, so no play for me for about a week.
And LadyTevar, I got some choice words for you. Extinction, Tsabos decree. Name up some rebels, watch the deck die. Then hit them with a Haunting echoes. Easy to do turn 3/4 in T1, and will absolutely kill rebel decks.
Or switch to combo. Rebel decks are goldfish.

Dark Hellion can I get a deck list for the Jar?

Which version lance, the T2 from legacy, the 40 card F-U version, or the 60 card $5000 version?
None are legal, by the way. They are just FYT decks designed to make opponents feel bad.
Fairies is the deck for humiliation. I could dig up the fairy decklist too, I think.

The most legal version, I guess. Isn't memory jar restricted or somthing?

by Dark Hellion
There is no legal version.
Its a dead deck, Jar, Recall, Tinker, and mana crypt, mana vault and grim monolith are all restricted, and jar is banned in block.
The old 40 card FU version I played was:
4 ancestral recall
4 dark ritual
4 Tinker
4 Black lotus
4 Memory jar
2 Megrim
4 mana crypt
4 Yawgmoths will
4 mox jet
4 mox sapphire
2 Timetwister

If you don't win first turn you shouldn't be playing with cards this old.

That, or extremely unlucky.

Ah, so its so completly ileagal that its not funny. Though it's not necesary a gurranteed first turn kill. If some ones deck has 4 force of wills and they draw all 3 they may be able to stop you. By stop I mean delay, unless you got a shit hand as Cyran said.

Oh, don't worry, I'm looking at some great cards that do nasty things to mono-color decks, as well.

What do you think of mirroden, the artifact set coming out in about a month? The equipment bleeds into color abilities like spirit link.

I'd not heard about this new set. Can you give me some more details about it?

Its an artifact set. Has some cool abilities, and will be useful in type 1. Pretty cool, but I have only seen about 50 cards so far.
Go to Magicthegathering.com, to find out about the new abilites.
I am still willing to play T1, if anyone is interested. I may have a bit of trouble scheduling, but PM me, and I will try hard to work it out.

Artifact set should be very cool. Very cool indeed.

Might actually make Aether Storm useful.

I was looking through my cards today and realized that in almost 2000 cards, I have never gotten a Lightning Bolt.

T1 will explode for about 2 months, so don't play against me after mirroden. I will be running something ridiculously cheesy unless DCI does a crapload of preemptive restrictions.
The Scepter will kill T1 magic. Its gonna go down the tube real quick. Then DCI will fix it eventually. Anyone who knows of grow-atog knows what I am talking about.

Is this the only thread where MTG discussion is allow (or maybe just the only one MTGers here post on? I'll add my broken elf deck to this thread cause nobody replied when I posted it as it's own topic.
