Well, we're playing "different times" in the Star Trek game, so I assume we're doing the same thing here.

Erm. In the ST game, we're playing "A small portion of an empire is plucked out of normal time by Q and thrown into a distant galaxy to start afresh".
That's not what we're playing here.
Main issue is that people are referring to the Vorlons and Shadows as having 'returned'. That implies they've previously left...

The Shadows DID leave. They vanished from public appearances for a thousand years. The Vorlons kinda did the same, retreating to their space pretty much until B5.
I think we're just mis-mashing eras as we please, in a 'what if?' game of B5.

Yes, they retreated into myth, which is what I was getting at.

By the way, who is playing Dilgar? Anyone on the Forum? Their turn and we don't know em.

Also, how about we get a 'claims' map going? I've got my section of space set. Send me your map sections so I can peice them together!

He's still waiting for his membership to be approved.

I watched In the Beginning and The Gathering yesterday, and I'd just like to say that if Uraniun builds the Babylon 5 station, the Centauri Republic will gladly send a representative.

Trying to cut in on my glory, eh? Typical warrior caste arrogance!

You insult us. Don't come crying to Valen should we meet! And yes, it's true. We open our gunports as a matter of respect. For even MORE respect, we paint the targets with ranging beams, and lock-on seekers to show just how respectful we can be.
Also, it's the turn of those primitive humans. What did Valen see in THEM?

My guess would be a little of himself

Arthur, your scout is lucky this is my first game and had no idea how to set strategies. It won't happen again

*shrug* scouts are expendable. In this mod, I've noticed it's incredibly easy to build truly ridiculous numbers of satellites packing high range, high damage weapons, so I'm not too worried about being attacked. Trying to start a war without the means to counteract said satellites would just be wasteful and pointless.

My answer,
I plan to use my 50 spaceyards to construct a nice fighter fleet and go after yummy neutral homeworlds.

I was more referring to the way my carrier and fighters valiantly fled from your scout. Most annoying.

I plan on retconning all my RP when I have the time to rewrite it... for now, Marxis didn't fight in the Shadow War it was the Dilgar War, and they don't know what Minbari are, they're just strange aliens whose technology might fetch a good market price.

He fought in the Dilgar War? What about when you get First Contact with the Dilgar Imperium then?

I was playing a one player game with the B5 mod and the Vorlons started to invade one of my worlds (is it just me, or is the Vorlon AI really violent?), but when ground combat started I got a "Division by zero" error and the game crashed.
Something to be wary of for later in our game when we start invading each other?

Dalton: Please either move those ships (referred to in RP thread) or accept my offer of a Non-Agression treaty. The Shadows are just passing through your system and I'd rather not have to wipe out your fleet to do it. This early in the game, the Ancients can destroy anyone they feel like.

Arthur
Can we get this turn rolled back?
Kojiro is having a stress right now because the AI took his turn for him. We'd also like you to look at the logs and see if you can figure out why.
Thanks.

Yeah I have no idea what is up with that. Guppy and Tobor were right here, they know I did it (Tobor took great delight in pointing out how long it took). Really sorry guys.

Probably you uploaded the wrong file.
<edit>Actually I just checked looks like the turn executed properly. Did you remember to press end turn.</edit>
