I totally agree that that the levelling Bandits in Daedric and Glass armor is shit. What the hell, man.
A few pages ago people talked about list mods(stuff that stops bandits from having Daedric armour), I'm still searching for the best one.

Why don't we here at SDN collaborate on fixing some stuff? Dozen of hours of tedious work spread between twenty people is maybe an hour, hour and a half each, depending on proficiency level. We could conspire via AIM for those of us willing to work on it. I'm game. Shit I got nothing else to do this weekend. Except take over the world, that is.
Plus, this gives the advantage of addressing ALL of our concerns in one fell swoop without having to muck about in someone else's mod.

I'm for it, I'm pretty good at basic Constructor set stuff, but not scripting.
Give me stuff to do and I'm game.

OK, I have to vent about something really annoying that I've caught snippets of in the reviews of this game. When I escaped the Tutorial dungeon I wandered the countryside around the Imperial city and stumbled into a stable took a horse and no one said anything (night time, no one was around) and rode off into the country side to explore this strange new world.
Cleared out a few dungeons and then thanks to Chardok's advice decided to head back to Imperial City. On the way I rode into a town named Hackdirt. Took a look around to see if there were any interesting quests and was roughly told to leave. Hop back on my horse and immediately I'm called a burglar and chased by townsfolk into the countryside.
Now mind you I rode into the town on my horse, I don't even think they have a stable and when I hop back on my horse I'm suddenly a thief?! Earlier When I dropped off the King's Amulet there was no accusation of being a thief at the monastary when I jumped on my horse so I chalked it up to nasty town folk.
I ride towards the Imperial city, get off my horse to kill a wolf as a guardsman passes by and when I hop on my horse again he calls me a thief and proceeds to give chase.
Fuck! Is my horse going to be a constant issue now? I head into the Imperial City after staying at the inn on the outskirts and resting, hop back on my horse (no one sees me) and no problem but when I get to the gates and hop off to talk to the local Orc owned stable to see if maybe I can cleanse this thief business by putting it up in a stable I'm told the orc eats the horses. I hop back on and am suddenly swarmed by townguards and killed when I resist arrest.
Luckily I saved right before entering the city suspecting I would have problems with my horse.
What is this shit?! I took the horse without anyone seeing me and have traveled with it for days and suddenly any time I hop on her I'm chased and called a thief. That fucking sucks ass. Is there any way to remedy this situation?
I apologize for the length.

It's because the horse doesn't belong to you. As far as I know (from about 5 or 6 hours of playing, fucking work) the only horse you can ride without "stealing" is the one you get at the priory.

Yeah but how does anyone know that? I stole the horse on the outskirts of Imperial city yet I'm getting shit for it wherever I go, random podunk towns, the countryside, what have you. It would be fine if I was harassed around Imperial city where I stole it but half way across the continent?
So now I have to go back to the Priory and take a horse? I'm not thrilled.

You can also buy horses at any of the stables around the world. Pricey though.
Apparently, in Cyrodiil, all stolen goods including horses have a big neon sign on them saying that they are robbed.

That horse is branded. that's how they know it's stolen. They know farmer Hogget's brand and stuff
I love justifying actions in this game...

Same way they know the apples are stolen, Stravo.
I'm interested in taking the tedium out of TES:CON stuff. I don't play the game anymore, but fixing things is good for the soul.

You can also get an awesome named horse from the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Faster than even a black, I think.

You'll just have to pay the fine, Stravo. Interestingly, though, I found an unattended Imperial horse on the road on the way to Weynon Priory and got on it for two seconds, it came up as a stolen horse in my stats list, but noone ever said anything ...
Oh, and I'm level 9 and have started encountering bandits using Dwarven gear

I have a mod that reduces bounties over time, so the trivial (5, 50) bounties go away after an hour or so (real time). I am using the 'unforgiving' one, where if your bounty goes to 3000 it doesn't drop anymore and if it goes to 4000 it starts counting UPWARDS. Don't remember where I found it, though. Also, I'm not sure what you have to do to get a bounty that high - being the Grey Fox gives you 500.

I really love riding along the roads of Cyrodil on my horse. Especially during the day, just exploring, tagging discovered locations for future cleansing when I'm not doing anything else. The little touches, like small villages, patrolling Imperial legion on horseback, etc. really adds to the atmosphere. And of course there's the bandits. Did I mention I love knocking the weapons out of their hands? On one of the big bridges, I knocked a guy's steel axe clear off the bridge and into the water- normally they try and pick it up- this guy just fought with his fists and died

Well I just searched all fields for the word 'bounty' and got nothing but the guard AI mod.
EDIT Found

Try knocking Daedra off the walkways inside in the Oblivion towers. Nothing like death by gravity!

That's about the only way I survived the hell that was the first gate. Man my combat skills sucked.

The Guardsman riding it probably died fighting a monster on the roadside.
...I wonder if... the owner is dead = no psychic flag?

Bethesda needs to add Detect Life spells to even minor casting-type mobs...otherwise Invisibility/100% Chameleon spells are Game Over. And probably take out stacking damage-amp effects.

I have gloves that have permanent Detect Life at 105 feet.
I encounted some invisible NPCs and didn't even know they were invisible until one ran up and talked to me.
Good thing, too, because I was about to notch an arrow for their heads.

Nah, a lot of NPCs can already see you when you're invisible for some reason. I was sleuthing around the Imperial City for the Dark Brotherhood and I had a psychic 40gp bounty ("Hey,
that guy
must be responsible for assaulting that guy who died! I know it! Not the death though, clearly he died of natural causes. Hey, an arrow to the face naturally causes death, am I right?") so I was using my Shadow invisibility to get around, some asswad guard runs right up to me anyways and tries to arrest me.

That was my thought too, I searched everywhere for the body, hoping to loot the corpse of his Imperial legion gear, but to no avail. I looted the corpse of another legionary during the battle at Kvatch.
Oh well, doesn't matter, I've got full Blades armor now, as well as the Heavy Raiment of Valor from becoming Arena Grand Champion.
One thing- why does the Arena Raiment look so damn lame? It looks like a damn skirt. I'm just gonna sell it, it looks so bad, to hell with the bonuses.
