Fine, let his admiral think whatever the hell he wants to.

Ok, it's one hour there and one hour back to the dead system from the edge of UP space.
Plus, The Task force was reinforced, so they needed to wait for them to arrive.
What makes you think his probes would be anywhere near my fleet while their engines were still active?

Do you think the reaction mass is going to magically vanish? Even the bumblers of Trek(whose tech level we are on) can track an old particle trail.

I've just updated my OOB to include the empire's static defenses
Also, the Cannons on the battlestations are capital scale, so they can one-hit cruisers

How about... NO darksider. NOONE has that much firepower over their worlds. I only have 6 actual battlestations around my homeworld. ANd each of those is destroyer MAYBE frigate power(they should be DN, but game mechanics doesnt permit it)

I added in my main military base into my OOB.
before you tell me it is too powerful or needs to be scaled back remember, it is the only thing there, except for ships.

Fine, count the cannons as cruiser level. (Roughly one-fourth as powerful)

Unless you're devoting part of your fleet strength to static defenses, the losses taken when invading will be minimal. I don't care if you post the guns being Dreadnought level or Death Star level. If no fleet is there, it will be overrun without reinforcement.

I know.
The damnd things aren't designed to single handedly hold of a fleet, just work with mobile defenders and do as much damage as possible

Um, Tycho?
About those reinforcements you sent to back me up.
Exactly where the hell are they?

fair enough. I will see if I can give you some attention, since my nation is not currently involved in hostilities.

Before anyone gets touchy I cleared the post with Marcoa first, I went far enough to PM him a copy of the post.
It is my full intention to check with 2nd parties before I make such moves to avoid any wankery.

probably unlikely gven the way the map looks right now. The only large open spot in Known space at the moment where it might be reasonable for your power to sit undiscovered is the upper left section of the circle.

Roughly on the Border of the Draconis republic.
Also showing up there will be very... unwise considering there's a major war being fought across this very border, and this planet's history of conflict.

That'd be Straha, and since he's an ass, he'd likely shoot them out of the void.
