Chips of armour flew from the scar that Prius carved in the traitor's armour. The traitor attempted to fend Prius off with by swinging his long barrelled cannon at him as the Terminator ponderously rose to his feet.

Imperial Overlord wrote:The tractor was powerful enough to hall the massive attack craft stored in the hangar. But it wasn't armoured and the autocannon was designed to kill vehicles and power armoured infantry. A long rolling burst shredded the engine and most of the vehicle, but the vehicle still had considerable momentum. The impact knocked the Terminator off his feet and sent him sprawling dozen meters.
Varian hobbled as fast as his broken body would let him go. His leg was smashed now, pretty badly. But he had to make it before the Chaos Marine woke. If he woke... the armor looked badly damaged by the impact.

The barrel of the autocannon clipped his augmetic leg, knocking him to the floor. In desperation he lashed out, slamming the chainsword into the autocannon's ammo feed.

The chain blade chewed up the autofeed mechanism, making the autocannon little more than a very expensive club until repairs were made. The Terminator dropped the weapon as he got to his feet. The other hand was encased in a chain fist; a short, underslung chainsword blade enhanced with a powerfield. The Terminator took a moment to steady himself before he began the process of chopping Prius Ristani to small pieces.

He rolled away, rising to his feet. He certainly looked like easy pickings. Fortunately his augmetic arm was immune to fatigue, but Prius Ristani was at the end of his rope. His posture drooped, his chainsword held out defiantly before him. Sweat stung his remaining organic eye, and his breath came in ragged gasps. He hadn't coughed any blood recently, so his augmented healing apparently had taken care of his nicked lung. However, there was no repair for his organic arm short of the attentions of a chirugeon, and it felt as if every portion of his body had been mauled. His muscles ached and quivered from abuse and overexertion, but nevertheless he weaved his chainsword in sloppy circles before him.
"Come on," he muttered into his helmet. "You frakking heretic. Let's finish this..."

Nathan slowly got to his feet .His vision wqas blurry and his thoughts were...distracted .He staggered forward his body aching. He walked forwards slowly slipping somewhat on the firefoam/fuel mixture.
He heard a scream and concentrated. Prius was having his augmetic leg sliced off. Nathan moved forward pulled his plasma pistol and fired it.

Armour flashed into vapor as a plasma blast struck the Terminator in the back. The armoured killed turned, placing his undamaged front towards his attacker. The chaos renegade lumbered towards Nathan, closing the distance in long, powerful strides.

Prius had no idea who fired the plasma shot, but the Emperor had smiled upon him once more. The terminator was turning away from him.
He wasn't going to waste this advantage, charging forward he hacked away with every bit of his remaining strength, slicing at the damaged armor.

The spinning adamantium bladelets sliced through ceramite and steel as Prius forced the blade home, into the Terminator's back. The hardened ribs and the black carapace prevented the blade from penetrating any deeper as the traitor spun, knocking the blade out of the wound while widening the gash. The Black Legionaire swung his chain fist in an arc that would surely bisect Prius if it landed.

Nathan fired off another plasma shot to see it knocked aside. He pulled his sword up and readied himself .... He heard...it must be someone else surely those two words didnt come from him .....
"Imperius REX"

Prius had no strength or agility left for fancy dodges or blocks. He simply fell backwards, hitting the floor. Fortunately, his augmetic hand retained the grasp on his chainsword, but for the moment he was totally exposed to any followup from the terminator.

Lillith finally broke cover, now that the autocannon was out, the shells had shredded the area around her, but by misfortune, or not she had been saved due to a sudden loss of ballence slamming her again to the floor, she had just laid there under a shredded loader, unable to move, seconds had passed and finally her limbs began to respond to her, somewhat, Her only chance was to get in close hope that the spinning world would be understandable closer to the enemy, and pray that she didn't skewer Master Prias by accident.

She saw Prias fall and saw the killer too far away, make for a killing stroke. It had to be now, putting all the force she could she threw longinus at the traitorus mountain, and watched as in speared an apperition and then cleanly lodged itself into a blast door.

The traitor responded by kicking Prius, a blow that would have killed an unarmoured, unaugmented human (neither of which applied to the colonel-commissar) and turned to shred Lillith with his chain fist. Although contemptous of mere mortals, a Sister of Battle was impressive enough by their inferior standards.

Without any other weapon lillith fired her bolt pistol hoping as the range deminished that she was sure that she would score a hit which could have some effect. Also she wasn't sure where her meltapistol had dissapeared too after she had fallen the last time.

Unarmored, armored, tougher than normal, that was all she wrote for Prius Ristani. As he flew backwards into the wall, darkness overwhelmed him.

Nathan thrust his sword forwards .Aiming for the hole Prius had made earlier and screamed alousd as he used the lst of his TK to drive the blade home.

Bolt shells ricocheted off the Terminator's front armour as the mountain of metal and tainted flesh rushed at Lillith.

She stepped back, uncertain of how well she could maintain her footing, as the monsterous form approched too fast, then her leg, wounded months ago by another traitor at another time, gave under her. Falling down she struck the ground again, this time, for the first time in ages she felt pain as explosions rocketed before her eyes, and up and down her spine, still she kept firing now at a low upward angle to the monsterous figure before her. She heard the reciever make a fateful click, no ammo and she wasn't in any position to reload.
as the chainfist descended, she remembered female type unarmed combat 101. She lashed out with a kick, using all of her near marine grade strength right at the traitor's groin plate.

by Imperial Overlord
The blow to the groin plate did nothing. It was far too armoured and a space marine was far too tough to be incapacitated by pain. Nathan's sword going all the way through both sides of his ribs, impaling a lung, and bursting out through the front of his armour was a different matter. He raised his foot, stomped Lillith, and spun around to destroy Nathan. His blood was already coagulating and sealing the wound as his chain fist came around.

As the traitor approched to finish off Nathan, tiny specks struck his armour, the Eldar weapon was next to useless against a terminator, The lithe Xenos prisoner approched with great speed, seeing that the catapult had not got the foe's attention, the LegioXenos convict pulled out his close combat weapon, now this could indeed harm the terminator, the anchient psychic race, had long ago mastered the art of building powerweapons.

Nathan's blade was torn out of his hand by the spinning Terminator. Fortunately, the bulk of his armour and the horrific wounds he had sustained slowed him down enough that Nathan was able to managed a telekinetically assisted leap back. As the Terminator pounded foreward Nathan raised his plasma pistols and shot the renegade in the face at point blank rank.
The traitor's head was vaporized by the hellish beams. The traitor legionaire toppled foreward, pinning Nathan under its bulk. It would take the inquisitor a few moments to get free, even with his formidable telekinetic powers.

"have you fixed the bloody hole yet!"- the captain of LEgio Xenos had returned from "Torpor" as his reptillian metabolism kicked into high gear, he had been left with the bodies of the fallen enemy, and he had needed the callories for regrowing half a tail, and a new arm, well it would take him about a week, on average, medicos never cared much for slave stock Xenos, and he was fortunate that he could simply regenerate most wounds.
Looking back as he assisted the medcea with casualties in the hanger,
"Sorry I couldn't assist you in the hanger, but they don't make thin suits in my form.

Prius was carted out with care. After the deck was repressurized, they gently popped the helmet loose and checked his vital signs. Weak but steady, blood had already dried along the side of his face.
"Internal injuries. This one's probably a deader," the medicae said dispassionately. "See the way the suit mechanism is smashed? He probably was about to run out of air, on top of everything else."
There weren't many wounded on the flight deck... those who hadn't died during the battle had mostly been sucked out into space, or got lodged in the various parts and machines on the deck, where decompression had finished them off.

The battered fleet took positions around the Cyrus Gamma. Shuttles and damage control crews flitted about and the status of High Port Station was assessed. The station had been wrecked by ground defences, but there were still parts worth salvaging. Scavenger crews cannabilized parts as the fleet repaired damage and considered their options. Communications with the ground indicated some hives were still in loyalist hands and others had yet to fall completely to the enemy. It was time to lick wounds and consider options.
