Well, there must be an original to take down, otherwise the whole Revolutions trailer with Neo vs. what we assume to be the original wouldnt make any sense, but ok, not original smith, that's good to know...

Judging by the previous actions of Smith, Neo and Skynet in this fic wouldn't Skynet completely own everyone ? Unless ..... SKynet can't defend itself aginst Smiths "assimilation" like neo can. Just how cool would Smith-net be !!!

Skynet will own, but Neo is the One and Smith is legion so it should prove to be an interesting fight.

Just out of interest, Stavro, is the imagery here, such as Skynet being this onyx and blue eyed creature, your own imagery or is it from one of the novelisations?

But if it takes skynet 0.001 nano seconds to down two Smiths, how long is it going to take to down 100 Smiths? Still way less than a second apparently, unless skynet was talking bull.

That's all me, I never read any of the novels. I just wanted to imagine something imposing and powerful but still sticking to the basic Terminator type vision. I figured Skynet would be more like a T-1000, liquid metal imbued with a fantastic intellect rather than a bulky T-800 type. If the TX proves to be a successful model he would eventually switch to an uber TX model.

I'd doubt that. T-X is really a heavy grunt trooper, with apparently less-advanced processing. Its also less flexible than T-1000, and Skynet strikes me as a being which does not rely on firearms...much like Neo.

Neo will be taking on multiple T-1000's in a fight coming in while, (He'd hate me if he was real, all that liquid metal so hard to score good clean kung fu hits on) but the black skinned T-1000 is Skynet in a souped up T-1000 shell. Also Skynet's processing power makes him a literal god in the Matrix so it should prove very interesting in later fights.

What makes you think that there needs to be an original? The new trailer proves the opposite; in fact Reloaded does. Otherwise how could human-Smith exist when disconnected from the Matrix?

Stravo, what you've done here is magnificent. I love the M's comments on Archie's being like the KFC Colonel. And I loved how Smith got dissected by Skynet, although you could've made Skynet more ruthless and evil, yet cold and methological like the T-1000. But you've done a superb job. Keep it up and post a wee bit faster.

I thought StarCrossed was finished. Anyway, it'd be nice if he'd make a chapter once a week, or once every two weeks. Once every three weeks would satisfy me too. But come now, it's been a month since between this latest chapter and the last one.

Possibily, but then why is Neo fighting one Smith alone in the trailer? Surely he should be trying to terminate all of them if there is no original or source.

Well, if Skynet wasn't talking bull, then Skynet would be able to destroy six billion Smiths in 0.003 seconds. I think that perhaps any fighting against Skynet had best be left to the programmers.

I wonder though, if the tremendous strain on the nodes would limit Skynet's power somewhat? I'm only speculating here, but if the nodes were breaking down simply due to Skynet's presence, a period of prolonged fighting might cause them to break down completely, I don't know what that will do, it being Stavro's story and all, but I doubt it will be healthy for those involved.

EDIT: And I still stand by my request that, even if Stavro doesnt want to sticky it, at least it merits a cleaned thread so reviewers don't have to wade through all this debate to find a story. (And IMO, that should go for any long standing fanfic, simply for viewer convenience...)

I do concur. The vastness of this thread will discourage viewers from seeing this highly entertaining work.

And I do believe that there is an original Smith, or else why the heck would Neo be just fighting one Smith in the Revo trailer? It's gotta be the original Smith, what other reason is there? Or it could be the Smith who is using the Oracle's body after the Smiths assimilate her.

No this is not an update. It's a vow to my fans and the fans of this story. I will NOT end it like that CRIME of a movie Revolutions. I will split this story off after Reloaded and keep the FUCK away from most of what we saw in that travesty. So if you were fans of the movie (first of all have yourself examined psychologically) it will not be anything like Revolutions.
