I sigh, check my bags, and stand up. "Shall we be on our way before more goblins arrive?"
Yes let us begin. Hesphirath s fed and will not need to eat again for a while, and the faster we get out of here the faster we will be safe.*pets snake lovingly*

He moves past the group and out to his pony, checking his gear and then saddling up.

300 XP; two clubs, miscellaneous minor equipment. 6 GP. [I should've gone to bed too but Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory has confiscated designated sleep periods.]
I carefully slip into the chamber that they just walked out of, sword drawn.

I'll try to ride with someone. If there isn't a horse that can support me, I will walk alongside, keeping a hand on one of the horses.

Look: 14+2=16
You spot a goblin, who had previously been cowering under an underhang. It sees you two, and somehow gets the notion that it stands a better chance fighting. The creature draws its battleaxe...

*climb down ladder, careful to minimize sound, reasoning that in these caverns, sound probably travels a VERY long way.*

And in other news, the dungeonmaster was discovered to be a victim of a violent goblin raid at his home on the Atlantic coast of Vinland. No body was found, and the authorities have assumed he is dead. A memorial service will be held by the family on Monday.

*grumbles something about ingrateful players*
Sorry, sorry, I'll get on this tonight. I had 5 hours of sleep over Thursday and Friday as well as class, my friends decided they wanted to play some WH40K at my house on Friday and today... oi. I shouldn't have any major annoyances until August 25th (school... *shudder*) so I should be around more.

You swing at the goblin and hit!
Your vicious attack hits the goblin for (8) damage!
The goblin dies!
You are awarded 75 XP!
It has 56sp, a short sword, and a buckler. Any and all contradictions from any earlier post concerning this goblin's equipment do not exist. And they never did. But there aren't any. So its not a problem.

You storm into the cabin, but all you find are a bunch of goblin corpses and overturned furniture. The battle looks recent.

No one seems to notice you, assuming there's anyone about to do so. You're in a small chamber with one door, slightly ajar.
