The increased number of attacks being launched on shipping lanes by the surviving elements of the Aquarian navy are but one sign that our objectives in this territory have not yet been completed.

We of the Commonwealth suggest joint efforts to clear out the pirates and rebels from the occupied territories. The Commonwealth has deployed significant resources, we would like assistance from the Azegarte navy, and a greater military commitment to the area.

This whole thing could fold on us if we do not move decisively, and in great force.

On the Admiral's order, the two KSN fleets lept into hyperspace for parts unknown.

And it came to pass... The people of Valeth werent seeing any homeless people. And fewer and fewer people showed up at work, and at school.

Search parties were sent out, and they vanished... people heard screaming in the night...

And then... a body was discovered... A neet little hole in his chest...

And the whole world was one giant infestation.

AZ: My my, that's quite a cloaked fleet.

Waffle: Two fleets, sir. As it entails both the planet taker fleet and the scout fleet...oh and the cavalry is on standby. Perhaps it's three fleets. I'm not sure how it works.

AZ: Whatever. The Emperor just gave us the coordinates for the main strike, how long till we reach this<points at pad> destination, Waffle?

Waffle: Approx 30 mins at the absolute most sir, since we're travelling with cloaks and making sure that all our stuff is nice and quiet as possible.

[at the rendezvous point]

The sensor tech looked up. "Father, sensor contact closing at 1.2 million lights, and dropping!"

"Yes, that would be He's Got a Knife!. Ready hailing ..."

"Contact has come to stop, and is hailing us."

The commander sighed. "Patch me in." He now addressed the visitor, "Please pardon the lack of pleasantries, but I am in a hurry at the moment. The navy wishes to hire one of your superlifters for a large delivery to eastern galaxy, which must be performed within a fortnight. The size of the delivery combined with the need of haste and absolute secrecy made you the natural choice for the job. Are you capable of filling this order?"

The Royal Institute for Disease Control (RIDC) was the #3 institution of its kind in the known galaxy. Only the Republic's ancient Center for Disease Control and the Terran Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases were have higher calibre, and those possibly due to their absurdly long experience. TAMRIID had once been known as USAMRIID before the United States finally capitulated and joing the infant Republic.

It was in the main control room, which resembled nothing so much as a space-defense command center, that all hell promptly broke loose on the main screen. The talker in charge of the Azgert Sector, already overburdened from tracking the massive refugee camps had just received a confirmed report from an independant convoy that was forced to abort it's landing.

"Warning. We have a confirmed xenomorph breakout on Valeth. Containment is at zero percent; infection appears to have maximised. The convoy reports that numerous freighters and ships have succesfully made it offworld in the last 48 hours."

The Director looked down from his observation report and sweated heavily. He had never seen such an act of biological warfare, even during the Great Wars. Planets were dusted, yes, but all their life was killed so quickly that none could escape. This ... this was far more insidious. "Inform the Navy and the Space Guard. Get the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the line immediately."

A tight beam, coded transmission went through... The order was given.

Across the former AU, rebels and insurgents, all proared to give their lives for the freedom theyy vlued, and the homes they cherished...

Atmospheric assault craft, hidden from the Conquerers burst from the waves and began assaulting Azgert positions...

Men lept from the seas and began attacking Azgert instalations with everything hey had, from rocks to RPGs to heavy laser rifles.

The queens maintained a tight grip upon her subects... they would not spread from this planet, the impact of that could be horrible for her friends... But this world, this world was hers for tha taking, until new friends arrived...

The heavy response squadrons were the first across the border. The Commonwealth fleet poured into the Azegarte-occupied Aquarian territory, the first push aimed at the former Aquarian homeworld.

OOC: It's a pity, Alyrium, that things can rapidly spread out of control far faster than you can imagine, even with your special Xenomorphs. Do you seriously think you can contain that kind of biological warfare strike?

Space Guard Senior Captain Halsey was in a near-uproar. Responsible for the Aquarian Sector and what little shipping was getting through, something new appeared on his table. Top-priority FLASH traffic had cut through his communications queues and gone straight to the top of the pile. And it was very bad news indeed. "RIDC confirms biological warfare strike on Valeth. Numerous freighters observed to exist systems within 48-hours of contact report by IM CONVOY 59E. CDC/TAMRIID confirms observations. Some freighters from Valeth believed to be entering Aquarian Union space.

You are ordered to turn back any freighters from the Kingdom to either Azgert or Aquarian space. You are ordered to block any freighters attempting to move to Star Kingdom space from estimated infected zones at all costs.

The first and third fleets emerged from hyperspace on the edge of Azgarte space. They sat there, shields up and weapons charged, awaiting their allies. and setting up attack coordinates

Back in Krytosian space, the remaining vessels of the KSN moved quickly, covering the borders and sendind all Azegarte civlillain ships out to neutral space. Newly erected planetary defens grids came online, and the KSE turned into a fortress, ready to repel any invasion.

All vessels approaching from destinations in the Azegarte Empire are to be turned back.
Vessels which fail to turn back when ordered are to be destroyed immediatly. All vessels which have been in the Azegarte Empire since the Aquarian bio-warfare strike are to be treated as infected.

At the same time, another critical supply world that seperates the southwestern arm from the north, the scout fleet and cavalry were decimating all defense systems and civilian colonies, then moving on to the next target, moving surgically across to the planet taker fleet, vuttin the space off, then they would turn south, quell any and all resistance there. Then onto the main part of Azegart space, along with allies, ousting this profane god and it's xenophobic fools once and for all.

Captain Bane was slightly confused at this. She had just left the large transit point after three day's rest for her crew. The fast-cargo run in had been most profitable, but she'd never seen so many raiders in her life before. She had to fight her way in tooth and claw - a good thing her ship was so well-armed. We could have never done something like this in Archon. But what's with the Space Guard?

Take all nessicary precautions when sending out Azgarte Civillian vessels. We never had much trade with them, so it shouldn't be a major problem, but any vessels found to be infected with Xenomorphs are to be destroyed. You are also required to intitute quarrentines for all personell and civillains that have recently come into contact with Azgarte ships.

OOC: That is just it Phongn We ca cntrol them... the are sentient with a telepathic lik to the queen... not a hive mind... But they love the Aquarians for the gift of intelligence, and are loyal. For the most part.

The xenomorph queen had lost contact with several drones... They ust have gotten on to civilian ships... BLAST! she thought to herself... This would hurt Aquarian diplomacy... but on the other hand, these Azggert scum deserved everything they got...

Because they were technically military personel... they would simplyy be declared AWOL... criminals, and beyond the protection of the allies, or the hive.

Oh, you've uplifted them and I'm sure you're grateful for it. But any such experiment has to be fraught with some measure of unreliability. To assume you've gone from "original laboratory tests" to "fieldable biological weapon" so soon is somewhat incredulous. With the addition of your invasion problem, I had assumed that the process was imperfect.

Nobody even saw the insertion! It could have been chalked up to some idiot accidentially getting his ship infected and then landing. But now you've gone and told everyone who did it. Your friends in the Resistance are going to have a bad time of it now.
