Any time. It is your move. Procrastinate away.

Edited last post to respond to Tacticus' post.

Does anyone else nibble edit their post after they send it in?

"Whoops, singular/plural screwup. Edit! Whoops, misspelled that. Edit!"

by GeneralTacticus
Yes, I do, although normally I only have one screw-up to fix, so I don't have to do so. When I make more than one, however, I tend to fix it, check the post again, notice something else, edit that, etc.

Depends on how distracted I am. Like now, I've got six tabs opened, so I'm catching a lot of screwups after the fact.

Of course, I'm not even reading two tabs, so I probably should close them.

Oh yeah. Especially the ship battles. I always miss italicizing something.

What I really wish I could do is edit the poll out of this thread, since we've long since resolved the style of game.

Don't forget the obliterator. Adivan had a pretty kick-ass day, and now he gets to join the spare parts club with Prius and Pater.

Let me get this straight: Prius is going run run across a pool of fuel with three Terminators unaccounted for?

by GeneralTacticus
This is Prius we're talking about here, remember? That's probably one of the saner ideas he's had today.

by Petrosjko
Well, if he senses their presence that would drastically change his tactics, yes.

Being as how he hadn't felt them at that precise moment, he's going for the gold.

And Tacticus, that cracked me the fuck up.

Prius's danger sense may be kicking in. Reason would also dictate that the Termies know there is a man down and have auspexes. Taking a long run through fuel would be unwise.

Good night, IO. We'll pick this one up on the flip side, and SB will be here to contribute in person, which will make it much cooler for the good guys.

At least we'll die together. :D

Bah. I disagree. Pater's just arrived at the unnamed system he left for when I left. Or else I'll go cry in the corner. WIth my teddy bear.

In related news, I bow to IO regarding the Divine Retribution. With a trusty bottle of Vintage Amaseac (M. 40, Chateau Verdaflaux) I rename the ship Pater's using as the Unrelenting Scimitar of Eternal Justice.

Note: It has a not-as-well-known sister ship, the Somnambulistic Halberd of Incorrigable Timidity.

Pater's Relenting Scimitar arrived at the unnamed system. Suddenly...

Nothing happened.

Two hours later...

Nothing happened.

Yay! We're saved!

'Cepting those big nasty terminators, of which there are three.

And we've only got one quarter of an inquisitor Adivan left, and he's incapacitated, so we can't count on him saving our bacon. D'oh.

He's also on the wrong ship.

Typhonis, you cannot magically step into the control room past the lake of spilled fuel and the Chaos Terminators.

Oh yah, to prove I'm not a complete bastard, besides YB and Stormbringer, there is a whole ship to draw upon. Not everybody will be involved in running it and damage control and these guys are the last boarders left.

Well, so much for being saved.

We're doomed. Doomed.

Three quarters, thank you very much. He's still got one arm and both legs, although he is going to be needing a lot of skin grafts.

Come to think of it either Prias' ship or your ship has the Redneck penal legion. Agroup of guards who we're transported to the penal legions intially for improving the speed of their vehicles by 15%, and out right mucking around with their wargear. <think normal rednecks>

The fact that they are allegedly thought to sodomize folks is just a certain Xenos prejudices comming out, maybe it's the fact they bring banjos, guitars, and think Elvis was a saint sent by the devine emporer....

Ok, The Rednecks are still unknown, we obviously have a guard unit drawn up from a planet full of relocated Scottsmen. Not inconcievable. BTW do you like how I described Prais' reaction to the bagpipes?

Heh. How did I know 'damned souls' would come into a description of bagpipe music.

And I like bagpipes. Got a couple of CDs of bagpipe music laying around.

You do realize marching in boldly might not be the best course of action with two termies laying down fire, right?
