Awesome, fantastic update.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

Munchlax
Munchlax is the pre-evolved form of Snorlax.
It slowly walks around.
It’s extremely carefree, but it’s said to be the glutton of the Pokémon...
An item appeared!
Don’t eat that!
I guess Munchlax is a bit of an item hog. Any item it gets, it eats! It’s kind of hard to tell it to stop, though.
It is, however, a damn shame she's not playable.Sep. 11 Tue. 2007
Lyn
Items
Lyn
A young girl from the Sacae plains, Lyn (whose true name is Lyndis) makes a guest appearance from the Game Boy Advance game Fire Emblem.
screenshot
Lyn descends gallantly. She looks tough.
She wields what looks like a classical Japanese sword, so she’s similar to Samurai Goroh, but her sword strokes are a little different from his reckless slashing.
screenshot
She crouches and builds up power...
screenshot
She vanished?!

The flash of a blade!
You’ll get helplessly cut down if you suffer a solid blow from this blade. If you call her forth as your ally, grab your enemies to make them easier for her to hit.
Agreed. I wanted her and Hector to be playable, since I think they both had pretty interesting play styles, though Samus and Pit are filling Lyn's niche, and Ike's a good enough replacement for Hector, I suppose.SAMAS wrote:While today's is a little better:

Battleship Halberd
Stages
It has arrived! The Battleship Halberd! It’s Meta Knight’s battleship...isn’t it?
screenshot
This warship’s bow is dazzling!
This stage begins in a hangar on the high seas. The platform follows the Halberd as it departs.
screenshot
Ooooh. It’s so dynamic!
Eventually, you land on the ship’s deck.
screenshot
What you see in the background is a double-barreled battery. With an arm.
Use extreme caution near the double-barreled battery! It launches beams and missiles and even attacks with its arm.
screenshot
Dodge it well and try to make it hit your foe!
The Battleship Halberd appears not only in multiplayer Brawl stages, but also plays a very important role in The Subspace Emissary. That role is something you’ll have to look forward to.
Fittingly, I just beat Melee with them yesterday.Sep. 14 Fri. 2007
Ice Climbers
The one in blue is Popo. The one in pink is Nana. And the two of them get along great! ...I think.
These two move as a pair, with Nana automatically following along. There’s safety in numbers—protect and be protected!
There's a fair amount of weight behind the argument to drop Roy, as well.Elite Pwnage wrote:Actually I'm sure that everyone in the last one will make in this one, with the exceptions of Dr.Mario and Young Link.
Pichu will most likely be cut as well, despite the fact that Pichu has far greater potential than Pikachu.Elite Pwnage wrote:Actually I'm sure that everyone in the last one will make in this one, with the exceptions of Dr.Mario and Young Link.
Roy better fucking make it. It just wouldn't be the same without him. He's my personal favorite, and the character I know best.Praxis wrote:Losing Roy or Young Link would sadden me. Though I'd love to see a cel-shaded Link in Young Link's place, if it wouldn't look weird.
Oh come on. That was harsh (and a really crappy pun to boot.) Though you are probably right. *Rummages through attic.*.SAMAS wrote:Chances are, you're going to have to pull out that "I Like Ike" button from your grandpa's attic.
Yeah, you do that.Vanas wrote:I can't help but pray they send in one of the Advance Wars characters. Preferably Sami, for machine gun and Bazooka fun.
Rather looking forwards to this now.
Typically Nintendo keeps the best characters secret, actually. I suspect we've only seen the starting characters.Elite Pwnage wrote:Yeah, you do that.Vanas wrote:I can't help but pray they send in one of the Advance Wars characters. Preferably Sami, for machine gun and Bazooka fun.

I think we've seen the best characters already so the list is going downhill from here.
Golden Hammer
It’s a golden hammer. Just like the title says.
It appears on a very important looking pedestal.
It’s even more powerful than a normal hammer. And it’s even more rare.
Swing, swing, swing the hammer!
This hammer drops with fearsome force! Not only does it boast increased power, but you also swing it faster.
...And it may have even more effects.
If you rapidly tap the button...
You can float in midair!
What is this?! As far as hooks go, this is pretty odd. It may even be a little hardcore.
By the way... The normal hammer was known to occasionally lose its head...
Ever have this misfortune happen to you?
This item also occasionally malfunctions...
And it is then apparently called the Golden Squeaky Hammer.
Squeaksqueaksqueaksqueak!
A) How do you know Ike is unlockable?Elite Pwnage wrote:Incase you haven't noticed they did show us some unlockable characters like Ike. And since we all know about Solid Snake what is this secret you speak of?
