I know.

However, I can work with that, as I am working with LoC9...

Where is that guy, anyway? It's not like Maxim Chernov is growing any younger! :P

I am planning a series of posts dealing with an anti-piracy mission in the New Rhineland Colony Sector (since I imagine colony sectors are kind of your nation's 'wild frontier' and are not completely tamed).

Hey, LoC9, maybe you can help in fighting the Zebesian Space Pirates. Gives your navy something to do.

Operations in-game start in June. I already know that Simon, Sorchus, Zor and LoC9 will send forces. Anyone else care to join?

That is however, his modus operandi.
I avoid it out of common role-playing courtesy, but I thought that tended to be the MO in SDN STGODs anyway.

Although, are we going to do the thing where if I actually role-play my polity's reaction to someone else's stuff and it forces them to change their storyline, I get yelled at for it? :P

Decided to end the Datton storyline to focus on the pirate one.

A fair point. I for one have been trying to avoid doing it too much, or at least illustrate that a certain amount of effort goes into securing the victories, and that the nation securing them isn't by any stretch of the imagination perfect.
Although, are we going to do the thing where if I actually role-play my countries reaction to someone else's stuff and it forces them to change their storyline, I get yelled at for it? :P
If you're interacting with me and your actions are reasonable (consistent with what rational policy-makers might do, or with events that might unfold regardless of what policy-makers want) I will not be one of the ones yelling.

In fact, I hope I will be happy.

Damn, that was pretty brutal. But I shouldn't be one to complain. Man, still pretty fucked up.

At least the mood was lightened... by ROTHUL! Mad scientist extraordinaire! Uncovering the secrets of VEGEMITE!

Man, that was a major boo-boo for the Bragulans. We didn't count on the Umerians to be truly into MAD SCIENCE. Damn!

Want to get depressed? It happens in Africa all the time. Albinos get murdered for body parts to sell.

Waka waka eeh eeh...it's time for Africa!

I wouldn't mind, but my nation probably has no relations with the Centrality.

This is why the Sheppoes were so careful to never, ever let us get our hands on any SMOGBANK. They knew what we might be able to do with it.

To be fair, Luthor Martin is really very good at what he does, and he was already part of the way there, though he had mostly given up in disgust when all his efforts failed some years ago. This situation is sort of analogous to the way that Heisenberg, head of the German atomic bomb project, was able to very quickly deduce how the American bomb worked once he knew it was possible.

Also, Ryan Brown deserves a medal. But see if he actually gets one. :(

For this piece, I tried to really get into the head of the mad scientist- how does he view the world, things like that. I hope it worked.
Tanasinn wrote:I wouldn't mind, but my nation probably has no relations with the Centrality.
That seems very unlikely. You guys are neighbors. If nothing else there are going to be occasional border or trade disputes between the two countries, so there would have to be some minimal system of discussion between you two.

So it seems Tia is going to be waiting days for Stalin to arrive. How tedious, good thing she told the fleet to slow up.

There. It's done. With the post I've just finished, I've sewed up that lingering plot thread and I can leave it alone. Now those characters are done for the moment and I'm free to do actual, good stories, which they might get wrapped in, but it'll be beyond mere wangsty relationship drama. :?
