hey, how long of a trip is it from Earth to Mintar? The place where the battle is going on.
The reason i ask is my First Contact Fleet did not return to earth but met up with the rest of my fleet in some open space?

It'll take about five days or so.

Maybe 4 days. Remember, a voyage takes a while in this game.

Would that be for hyperspace travel or all forms of FTL?

I have already given control the fleets to Rogue 9. We have already gone over what the fleets will do.

At this moment, I'm trying to figure out how to get at least my avatar legitimately off of LastPort before it vanishes.

Two questions:
1) Who's controlling the Psilons?
2) What do they have from home based fleet?

The Psilons? Well, if Jaded Masses cares to show up it'll be him, of course. Otherwise I suppose it defaults to me. As for home based fleet, that'd be almost everything. The only ships of his outside his space are the ones that participated in the attack on Manticore.

Hey, Aly, a question. You Eketrina fleet, if I remember correctly it was under a communications black-out. So how'd you recall it?

Okay. Shall I assume that since you're managing it you're in control.
And as I recall, they're a 2/3rds power, yes? Or are they a full strength? I'm just trying to get a feel for numbers.

No, they're full strength. They were one of the starting nations in the game. He just hasn't done much for a while.

You do realize that once the UBT starts heading toward you, we're going to know the jigs up.
And of course you're going to get nailed anyway after that.

The alternative is getting nailed after surrendering and after you people dismantle my fleets and set up bases in the center of my territory. You think I can't see the motive behind the concessions you wanted?

Of course you can. You're meant to be rendered low level nation. That's the whole point.
However we weren't planning to fuck you over. The intention was to just let you languish. Now you've done the job for us.

Rogue, I would like very much to see posts from the UBT's owner giving you power over them.
And further more I'd like to see either from the mod decleration or in game posts (which don't seem to exist, funny) where you hired them and when the departed. So far as I know, the latter can't be done just through mod decleration.
Because right now this seems like a lame crock of shit. So I officially call bullshit.

I call bullshit. Tasoth said he dropped out, therefore he should be treated as a non-entity, not as a nation to loan out ships at will.

Well then, I call bullshit on Stormbringer's claim to have 32 capital ships at Mintar, given that we were only allowed to start with 25, and he didn't send his whole fleet. I also call bullshit on FTL missiles, something not used even in standard Wars tech, and this notion that a core planet should only be able to hold off a couple of dreadnoughts before succumbing, and also on the claim that a fighter's potency depends on whether it's based on a planet or on a fleet carrier even if they're the same design of fighter.

In other words, you're throwing a childish tantrum against everything decided by the arbiters of this because you're a whiny bitch. Because you have nothing to legitimize the UBT presense, you think you can just rail against everything. That's fine. I reiterate my earlier position.
Get out.

So, fucking, what? "It's not used in X, even though it's tenable, so we can't POSSIBLY use it here." The idea works, the principle is sound, and if you wanted to complain the time is long over.
and this notion that a core planet should only be able to hold off a couple of dreadnoughts before succumbing
Beating Dead Horses is stupid and unproductive. This has been settled, repeatedly, so don't try to bring it back.
and also on the claim that a fighter's potency depends on whether it's based on a planet or on a fleet carrier even if they're the same design of fighter.
Let's take two fighters fighter A and fighter B.
Fighter A is a land based aerospace fighter. So it has to have an aerodynamic shape, wings, engines powerful enough to propel outside of the atmosphere, fuel to support that and dog-fighting, and it can't be so large that it can't get out of the atmosphere.
Fighter B on the other hand is a space carrier based fighter. It can look like a dog turd for all it matters, and as long as the engines are placed in the right place, and there's enough fuel for recovery, it doesn't matter, that gives it extra weapons, shields, armor, etc. Fighter B is a far superior combatant in space when compared to fighter A.
Logical really, now if you want to say that all your carrier based fighters follow fighter A's example, be my guest but then accept that your fighters will be weaker than average, otherwise shut the fuck up and quit your bitching.
