Absolutly. It would look quite beautiful, dusted with ice crystals from explosive decompression, turned into a million cubic kilometers of floating, twisted metal and frozen corpses. Hmm- Modern art via focused HEL Lance fire

I'd like to point out that the Hajr isn't exaclty just marching troops around for no reason. There will be guarded convoys and the like, especially out by the air defense bases... But catching a handful of troops just patrolling for no reason is unlikely. And convoys will be well guarded.

As the nations in the Temesvar conference appear to have no major conflicts, we might as well write up the treaty.
What involves my nation...
The Treaty wrote:
1. The systems of Oerth and Aber-Toril shall, in their entirety and in perpetuity, be annexed to the Realm of the Blood King.
2. The system of Ravenloft shall be divided between the Realm of the Blood King and the Ousters as follows: The planet of Ravenloft and all stellar objects located within its orbit shall belong to the Realm of the Blood King, whereas all stellar objects whose orbits fall outside that line shall belong to the Ousters.
If the other involved parties would post what they're taking in this thread, we can slip it together and put it in the Game thread to be "signed."

3. The systems of Esgaroth, Seiben, and Chul'suroth are reserved for the Diaspora and colonies of the Unbound. The Hajr has complete authority over said systems, which it will cede as it pleases to Floater colonists.
I figure clause 2 covers Ravenloft well enough for me.

4. The systems of Union, Wirmon, and Firi, are entirely the property of the Ravenlock Consortium
Edit: Colony names added

Hotfoot, in light of recent revealed Arcanist opinions, I move you name at least one of the two systems "QuasimodoFartmcNasty."

Don't worry, the name list upgrade for FQM has plenty of weird names. Wirmon and Firi are the two I chose, so I hope that fits

5. The systems Al-quadim, Sharis and Yvela are annexed in their entirety by the Veithan Empire.

You know, in real life some mining corporations that operate in less then stable countries, mainly the Congo but also New Guinea and similar locations, have there own mercenary armies that number into the thousands complete with armed aircraft and armored vehicles.

If I thought the Overseer would last long enough, I'd send a genuinely interested emissary there and proceed to flip out about the evil conspiring humans.

Right before you glasses his worlds for harboring evil conspiring organics, of course.

Nah. One Dreadnought can't glass a world, but it sure can cook it up to 'medium done'.

I a few to many ships in the area for the dreadnought to get far... and planetary shields will be raised.

Goal met, frigid, Goal met? Last time I looked, the Ouster worlds are still Ouster worlds
I think your little posture really didn't get you anywhere.

Now Thridfain what makes you think that was goal? Tsk Tsk, didn't you pay attention?
I can learn to.

Once in while you get a gem in PMs that is to cool to keep to yourself. I've been told I have questionable taste (look where I'm posting for the love of...)
Well, I asked Thridfain if the Hajr were suppose to remind of Sparta or the Nazis. The whole Master Race, gentics program and desire to spread through out known space trigger that on my part. Thridfain had a answer that was just good poetry.
The Hajr? Spartans? Nazis?
Nothing so human. The white crest on the tsunami, nothing more than the small peice of order which fortells oncoming chaos. They fight not for cultural pride, or racial purity, but due to an instinctive need to expand rapidly. They put the community ahead of self not because it's the party line, but because with only 40 years to live, your life is too small to matter over the collective.
Maybe I have lousy taste. But this is good stuff and explains why the Hajr have become a very powerful Nation in this game. Salute.

The first half of the Invader's Guide to the Diaspora is up in the OOB thread providing detailed information on the Hajr's holdings, along with my badass new Hajr flag (hosting courtesy of Hotfoot).
