as I tried and failed in the first post the force of Sisters assisting you are75% medaedi/apothecarians and the remainder tech priests drafted when an over-zealous machine spirit insisted on covering the drop grav chute equipped apothecary.
The Choosers of the slain are equipped with grav chutes and jump packs, wield chainswords and bolt pistols, their primary function is that they are healers. The sisterhood techpriests were repairing/servicing Fawkes when he decided that the Choosers needed assistance jumping hot into a fire zone.
Of course with their drop gear they probably would be best suited either setting up a field hospital, or conducting psych warfare against the minions of Nergle (arrrgh the hygine it burns!)

Definitely cool, Yo-Bear. Just one thing. Prius is meeting with the Judges right now, not them. He'll probably be out to find out what they're doing here after the meeting is done.

there's a long running joke about Gamers, and basic clenliness, and the use of soap/disinfectant as a weapon.

YB, the drop area is being hammered by the enemy. Anyone who doesn't withdraw immediately is going to be in a lot of pain.

I think they did withdraw, with that tank taking the rear...

A lascannon blew Fawkes to pieces, raining fire and shrapnel on those around him.
There isn't anything left of Fawkes. He's toast. Anyone trying to salvage him is dead.

I'm coming close to the end of the Gix's schola days. If there is anything that people think I should address, let me know.

Some dumbass in Texas totally forgot to include you in the drop scene. Uh, I'll write you in somehow.

Basically, thus far we've had Prius, the Sword, and an unexpected load of Sisters Hospitaler drop in to begin the revolution, which will be televised. Lots of people DIED.

Trust a Confederate Vampire Gunman.
I bet he's still in his quarters, practicing for the battle. "Ah, guys? Where is everybody?"

In my defense, I was having to write for two other PCs at the time.
No, never mind. I suck.

Yeah, you certainly are a popular placeholding guy. A testament to your exceptional skill... Hang on, you aren't a mod, are you? Forget that.

Dear god, me with mod powers?
I'd take a page from Shep's book, only my custom title would be 'Locky Locky'.
I'd have a really cool 40K 'Thread Locked' pic and the insatiable urge to use it every chance I got. And the first time DW started a thread about something and I locked it after two posts, that'd be the end of my modding days.
"SPAM! Thread locked!"
Back on topic, it's probably the fact that I'm usually here that gets me honored with the placeholding duties.
IO and I will figure something clever and mindblowing out to work Pater into the storyline.

I wouldn't mind if you could do something clever and mindblowing with his character, either. I'm all out of ideas.

In order to move a character in the present, one must have a good understanding of his past. You could take a page from the Memoria work that IO is doing and think over Pater's formative experiences.

I have ideas, one or 2 of them quite nifty IMO, I just lack the time to excecute them.
I like to think that I've at the very least established his basic personality/motivation/etc.

That you have, but if you want to bring something new out, often the place to look is in the past.
I think... what happened was that Pater was injured early in the drop, and had to be hauled along for recovery. Fortunately, we have the remnants of a Sisters Hospitaler unit to give him TLC until he feels better, which should be right around... oh, sometime after IO, Stormy and I finish our 'Meet the Judges' scene.
This time Prius isn't being given carte blanche to kill every Judge in sight, more's the pity.

Sisters hospitaler giving him TLC?
Either you like me or you really, really hate me. It's hard to tell.
More on the point at hand, I've all-but-written the moment he realises he's a Psyker. It definately shapes his worldview.

Don't sweat it Stormbringer. We've been moving at a crawl.
Don't forget that Prius and the Sororitas are not at the primary target. They're taking out one on Tendao's lieutenant, Gathor the Reaver, and inspiring the local defence.
