(Craft: Trapmaking to disarm the door traps: 19+4 = 23)
My hands slip into pouches scattered about my armor and extract several wooden shims. I carefully slot the shims under the depressable tiles to anchor them at floor height, enough to prevent them from pressing down under my weight but not under somebody else's.
The traps appear to be kept at bay, though you could have easily picked your way through the checkered tiles. You've now got a choice between two doors, both appearing identical.
(of course I could have, but if I have to come running back through here in a hurry, I want
them to be the ones getting punctured by arrows, not me, and if they see me running over the trap without getting arrowed, they'll think I disarmed it instead of turning it on its head).
I think I'll take a careful peek behind the door on the right.

(Assuming success) You land on the branch and hear the footsteps and shouts of at least one person following in your wake. You do not see anyone however.

I slowly move toward the tree's trunk to see if I can get a better view of my pursuer. Pressing myself against it for balance, I pull out my throwing daggers and wait.

The room appears to be a reasonably well furnished antechamber, with several doors leading in other direction. It does not appear to be occupied.

Following the way you came on horseback are two men. One is armed with a spear and the other with a large longbow, arrow nocked. They do not seem very intent on taking anyone alive.

If there are no suspicious noises coming from the left, I'll open the right-hand door and go in.

I prepare to throw my daggers at the longbowman, who at the moment poses the most obvious threat...

You hear nothing, and enter the room. As you do so, the torches lining the walls are simultaeneously put out but some unseen force, plunging the room into darkness. The door slams shut behind you.

The two brigands scan the trees to either side, the archer sweeping his longbow in either direction. They pass under you, neither appearing to notice you.

The bandits hold their position. The leader again shouts, "Surrender your valuables,
now! You will toss them forward in front of you and lay down your weapons, or you will die." The longbowmen take aim.

You cleave the goblin in two, and the axe-wielder takes a swing, penetrating your armor.
17+1=18
2-1=1 damage.

I have no gold for you to take! You cannot take blood from stone!
* Knowing I cannot reach the longbowman with any of my spells I put my rapier away, and take out a pouch of 17 silver peices and toss it to the ground*
" Seventeen silver peices is all you will be able to squeeze from me. Are we honestly worth the effort, we are but poor travelers?" (Bluff Check 13+2=15 diplomacy check Natural 20+2=22)

I wait several seconds until I have an unobstructed shot at the archer before letting my daggers fly.

The leader motions a spearman forward to retrieve the sack. He runs up, spear at the ready and bowmen covering him, quickly grabs the bag and runs back. The leader replies, "Hmph. So be it. You may pass, provided you leave quickly. How unfortunate that one of your party's members decided to flee. He will not escape my wrath. Be on your way, now."

Oh crap. Here goes everything.
I listen to everything around me, trying to ascertain my surroundings.

The first dagger flies in front of the longbowman, alerting both bandits to your presence. Before they can respond, your second dagger digs into the archer's leg. He returns fire with a very not-nice looking arrow which, fortunately for you, skewers the trunk of the tree you're in. The other brigand attempts to dislodge you from your perch with his spear but to no avail. Your third dagger fells the bowman, but the spearman gives you a sharp poke, causing you to lose your balance. You hit the ground with a thud and the spearman looms over you...

You can hear the breathing of two humanoids, one to the left and one to the right. You'd guess each is about 15 feet away still, though they're getting closer.

You get to your feet and begin running away. The bandit chases after you, scoring a glancing hit to your side. You manage to outrun him and follow after your horse

Can I pinpoint them well enough to shoot them?
EDIT: Oh hell, a blind shot's only -4, that puts me at a natural to hit roll. I pick the one on my left and shoot him with my crossbow.
18+4-4 = 18, crit threat.
16+4-4 = 16 on the confirm roll - is it a critical hit?
